Super 8 by Wyndham Charles City

We checked in last night when weather got nasty. This is the best Super 8 I have ever seen. From the welcoming lobby with its wonderful staff to the fresh, clean, updated rooms, it's obvious that a lot of care goes into maintaining this motel. It costs a bit more than a typical Super 8, but much less than the average motel of this quality. There are 2 actually convenient truck parking spots, with more room in the back. There's even a boot cleaner by the back door. If every Super 8 was like this, I would stay at them more often! Our dog was welcome for a bit extra, and there's laundry on site, gym equipment, free breakfast, strategically placed smoking rooms, a super cold fridge and warm heater...great amenities, but my favorite would either be the room's cleanliness or the employee, Dawn, who got us checked into it and made sure we had a great stay.

Only stayed for a night. From what I can tell. One of the better hotels in town by far. Would recommend

Updated. Clean. Friendly, committed staff. Way nicer than your average super 8! Charming lobby & breakfast area. Non-smoking rooms had no hint of smoke smell even the halls where fresh. We liked this print taken at a local park in town.
