Super 8 by Wyndham Cedar Falls

Fire detector had been messed with, beds were super soft and uncomfortable. There was hardly a staff person locat d at the desk, we always had to call them. The popcorn was good. It is priced well for a quick, not glamorous stay in the area.

They have free popcorn in the lobby! The pool was 'down for maintenance' the first night, and open the second night. The pool is surprisingly warm and the hot tub is nice. They were both a little dirty. Not sure if it was a lack of maintenance, or just high traffic before we got in.

We were invited to a pool party and when we got to the pool room, there was so much water outside the pool that my 2 year old slipped and hit her head on the ground. There were exactly 0 towels available to dry off with. It took staff 15 minutes to find a squeegee so that we(guests) could make the floor safe to walk on.

Very quiet and clean motel. Had the best nights sleep in a long time. Have contacted them to find out where they get their mattresses from. Breakfast offered was waffles you make yourself, biscuits and gravy, toast, cereal, coffee and OJ. Just enough to get the day going. There is a big convenience store next to them across the street. They have an indoor pool and dog walk area too.
