Not what I expected. Extremely crowded, (but was there on a Saturday, so understood.) Not greeted or asked questions by any volunteers/workers. Smaller dogs walking & laying throughout the main walkway. Had to be extremely careful where you were stepping. Larger dogs were in a sectioned off area, but many freely roaming & laying in that area. One jumped up (it did not seem to be in a vicious manner though) at my 6 yr old & attempted to nip at her face. After leaving the larger dog area & attempting to find standing room in the main walkway, a fight broke out between the larger free roaming dogs which was quite scary.
Overall, it was just a very uncontrolled environment.

Some people have complained about animals peeing inside....but that's the trade off of not keeping any of their animals in kennels! The animals can socialize. Visitors can see the dogs personality while they play in their areas. Staff clean up any puppy messes quickly and it's obvious they care about the animals and want them to have a good home. Their priority is making sure animals are safe and placed well. Not selling you a dog. They are a wonderful rescue doing great work.

We had a great experience adopting our little rescue pup. The staff was really friendly and helpful. I honestly don’t get all of these negative reviews. We were happy with our experience. My initial thought was that it was to expensive but with all of the vet work and the amount of effort it takes to run a shelter like this the price makes sense. We were happy to pay it instead of going through a breeder.

I googled Molly's because I had a question, but noticed someone making negative comments. I felt compelled to give a review of our experience. We adopted a beautiful pup a little over a year ago. He is very nice and we are very happy. It did cost quite a bit of money, but that was to cover vaccines, a chip, and to be neutured. This is all the same costs we would have paid ourselves to have these things done. We did have to ask multiple questions, before we knew everything to expect. Once we completed the application and were approved, we were able to pick him up the following day. They are a very busy place with multiple staff and volunteers. Also, if I remember correctly, they are not for profit and in the business of rescuing pets.

We adopted our husky mix from Molly's back in January of 2006. He was such a great dog. Sadly, he passed away in December of 2017. We went back to Molly's yesterday to just "look" at the dogs and ended up leaving with the newest member of our family. Yes, Molly's adoption fee is steep. What you must understand is that they need to have money to run the rescue and have the dogs provided with vet care and spaying/neutering. Also, I don't get the people complaining about the dogs pooping/peeing on the floor. What exactly do you expect them to do?? They are at a rescue. Do you expect the volunteers to take each and every dog outside to do their business? Overall, we had a good experience and would consider adopting from Molly's again the future.
