Mending Hearts Animal Rescue

I've given Mending Hearts two chances to prove they care about adoption placement for their animals, but they have disappointed me both times. They are next to impossible to reach. No one returns calls. When you finally do get ahold of someone they aren't friendly or willing to talk to you. To be fair, Lou Ann seemed the nicest but neither Pam or Deb ever returned any of my calls. Hey Mending Hears, if you want to find homes for these pets, CALL PEOPLE BACK. It's really that simple.

Had a lost puppy show up at my house and no idea where it belonged. When I brought the little guy to Mending Hearts everyone was very nice. They took care of the pup right away and one could tell immediately that their hearts are in what they do. As far as I could see the other animals were happy there. The shelter is clean and spacious. I saw several folks taking the dogs for walks even in the short time I was there. Definitely felt like I was leaving the dog in a good, safe place.

Mending Hearts is a great rescue. It's really obvious that the volunteers pour their hearts into helping every animal they can. I adopted my dog Roger as a puppy from there and they were very kind and easy to work with. They just want to make sure the animals that come through their doors are going to a happy and healthy home. I would recommend adopting and donating to this non profit.
