Humane Animal Rescue

Adopted a retriever/ doberman/pointer. He was saved from a high kill shelter in Tennessee. Was in the shelter for a month because no one was interested in him. I adopted him on the spot. They told me he was 4y.o. I took him to my vet.. she's estimated he's about 1 year 6 months. He's truly a gift. I wouldn't of left him behind.

We got our beautiful, white cat, Casper! The experience was easy and quite affordable. For under $40, Casper was given a checkup, neutered/spayed, treated for fleas and ticks, and even included some toys and food in gift bag. The staff and volunteers were efficient and kind. The facilities are great and quite clean. Thank you!

Went to find a cat but got an education. The employees love what they do and it shows. Filled out the paperwork and I was paired with the perfect little guy. I was given the opportunity to be alone with him to be sure our personalities matched. I brought him home knowing about how to care for him and an appointment at the clinic scheduled. The experience was wonderful.

They advertised a kitten and said it was available for adoption when I inquired. When I got there to meet the kitten they said it was too afraid to come out. I kind of thought a place like this was supposed to help animals find homes? Would a scared animal not be better off with someone who would give it a forever home and be willing to accept it even with challenges? Staff were completely unhelpful. My heart goes out to that poor kitten who is stuck there with them.

Dropped my 5 1/2 month kitten off for a spay. They wanted my number so that they can update me on her condition after the surgery and I never got a call. Also concerning was the fact that all my paperwork that I got from them had the wrong birth date and said she was 4 years old. Upon seeing this after her surgery I sent an email telling them to update her records with the correct information and never did get a reply email. Do not even bother paying $10 for an e collar. It’s a waste of $$ and falls off within seconds. They had gauze on it which I was supposed to tie around the cats neck. Did not work and not exactly safe.i ended up not being able to use it. Wish I would have known that beforehand because I would not have purchased it. My husband and son picked up the kitten after surgery and the woman was busy and gave my husband a piece of paper and said to read it about the post op info. I would think you would have went over it. On a positive note, my kitten is doing well after her surgery. I could not be happier which is the most important aspect of the whole experience.
