We were in shorts and tshirts, it was a very welcoming environment Our server was INCREDIBLE. Very attentive, my water was always full! Very good prices for lots of food. Fried chicken was enormous. Green beans are the best, not seasoned with meat but was really tasty. My husband enjoyed the BBQ sausage. The cornbread was hot, delicious and crumbly.

Tasty southern comfort food. I had the catfish, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, fried okra, and some of the tastiest iced tea ever. Friendly service and clean restrooms. The only con I can think of is that my coworker wanted chicken and we were told it was about a half hour to prepare. They should have some ready in a warmer or something!

We went there on a Sunday and the staff was friendly and provided great service. The restaurant looks bright, clean, and well kept. The food was fresh and hot. I had a veggie plate and my husband ordered a catfish platter. He thought the catfish could've had more seasoning but adding the Louisiana hot sauce gave it a nice flavor. The macoroni and cheese is ok. Everything else was average. Because I saw such high ratings online for this restaurant; I expected it to wow me. I would recommend this restaurant but don't expect the food to blow your mind. The food was good but not great to me.

Just happened to be in the area so I popped in. Pleasant surprise, clean, good staff, fast service and the food was tasty. Yes it could have been seasoned better but hey they are cooking for the masses...

The quality of food has went down hill. The last two visits there was a sign for a cook in the window, this should have been our first hint. We live close by, but the food was cold, mac and cheese bland, chicken was dry. Thought the cake would save the day, but no it was a dry box cake. So disappointed. My husband was also very disappointed with food. Oh, and there was no menu on the website...smh.
