North Springs Transit Station

This is the last stop for Marta on the Red line which comes up all the way up to Sandy Springs/Roswell area of Atlanta. The Station is easy to reach to if you know how you are going. I would recommend using Google Navigator to show you the way if you don't know how to come into the Station. Overall the station is great. You can go from this station straight to the Atlanta Airport Marta station which is great benefit of taking Marta. Additionally if your job is in Downtown Atl then you can catch the bus from several stations North of this Station like Mansell Rd or Windward and comfortable read the news while Marta does all the driving for you. So you an relax if you like. BTW probably a question asked a lot. Is the parking free. The parking is free for day use parking. If you want to park your car overnight then parking is $8/day.

Lacks access to 400 south from 400 north entrance. Would not be so bad if you could get to Peachtree Dunwoody road from the 400 entrance but that would make too mutch sense right?. Even Dallas TX has a better transit system DART. If the oil state is doing better public transit than you then you are failing. MARTA has too few trains and they are too slow. Uber and lyft even in ATL traffic can be faster by a significant factor. Slower than driving a car through a metropolitan area = failure. Hope it gets better because it can not get any worse.

(Daily Rider, red line) Good ----------- Trains generally confirm to scheduled times when I ride - early rush hour morning and evening. Mostly clean. Police are available at need on a mobile app for real time reporting of problems. They try to communicate issues problems etc. And do a decent job generally. Do get the Marta app. Bad - on occasion the following. These are mostly exceptions but ride much and you WILL see them. ------------- When weather is bad train schedules can go out the window. If it is freezing outside expect to stand on the platform in the wind for a while. Plan accordingly. Vagrants and panhandlers. Marta can be their bedroom, their bathroom, and/or their place of business. Sometimes people leave food and trash about instead of carrying it ten feet to a trash can. At times announcements are Charlie Brown's teacher. Other times the volume can blow your eardrums out. Still have to leave at the exit you came in at at North Springs. Every now and then that flexibility would be nice and costs nothing. No train arrival display at North Springs (again, there is an app for this, but the overhead display would still be nice) WHY would you set one escalator out of service and the other two going up when people are leaving for the day at Peachtree Center time and again year after year? Relentless repetition of PSAs. Carding out. What a customer no focus pain.

Worst parking deck ever. Can't even pay on exit. I will never park and ride here again.

Worst station and parking ever. If parking is full, you have to come all the way back to 400. No way you can go to internal roads.
