Was left in the waiting room for 45 minutes after my original appointment time. The receptionist told me the dr was finishing a procedure which is fine but if you’re doing something that takes so long then maybe think about that when scheduling an appointment. However the nurse was very nice and the facility itself was clean also the doctor was also incredibly helpful and kind. I would definitely go back

I did not feel comfortable with the doctors nor the staff. There was a coldness to the office that made me uncomfortable. I also found it troubling that I could not chose my own doctor. I had to rotate around. This place is too strange. I just cannot put my finger on it. I will not return to this facility.

I have 5 children, 4 of which were delivered by mid wife in another state, while my last child was delivered here in NC with an ObGyn in Nov 2017.
When I first came to this office I asked for the major differences between an Ob experience and Midwife and the Dr snubbed midwives by saying sarcastically, "well for starters 8 years of additional training and education" Let me tell you, that additional training didn't equate to more in terms of patient experience.
However the staff at Bradford is very polite, the office is very clean and the waits were always short. There is a slightly cold feeling to interactions here though that I never experienced with my midwife. You would think after 9 months of coming to an office you'd have a solid rapport with the staff but it always felt like they just met me at every single appointment (expect for the Lab staff who is extremely wonderful, personable and remembered me every single time).
Rotating doctors doesn't allow anyone to really get to know you well either but by the end of my pregnancy I got smart by asking for specific doctors when scheduling my appointments (although that doesn't guarantee you will deliver with them)
Dr Sweeney, Dr Castellion, and Dr Parson were my favorites and I actually delivered with Dr Castellion.
My only real issue with this office is actually the day I went into labor. In my office visits the doctors kept telling me because it was my 5th baby and I have had quick deliveries they would be mindful of that and make sure to have me come in as soon as I felt I was in labor.
However the day I went into labor that is not what happened at all. I called to speak with the doctor and no one would let me speak to her. The answering service asked me a slew of questions (including what number baby it was for me), took my information, put me on hold, called the doctor, told her what I said and came back with her response. I asked if I could speak with the doctor directly or can she call me directly and the answer was no. Then they tried to deter me from going to the hospital as if I wasn't ready.
I called back and again the person on the phone tried to deter me from going to the hospital and wouldn't let me speak to a doctor directly but told me I could go in if I felt like it. (What?) That was never my experience with a mid wife. I always had my midwives cell phone number to call her directly or the answering service would alert her to call me directly.
The third time I called, again the person on the phone tried to deter me from going to the hospital but I told her it was too late Im already in the car on my way. When I arrived at the hospital I was 9.5 cm, they barely had time to transfer me from triage to delivery, didn't even have time for an IV or anything. Dr Castellion broke my water and I delivered my son less than 15 min later. She told me if I would have waited even 10 more minutes he would have been born in the car!!
They need to allow patients to speak with a doctor directly when they are in labor so nothing is lost in translation, and their call center staff certainly shouldn't tell a patient you can go to the hospital if you feel like it.
Last thing I didn't like is Dr Castellion didn't refer to me by name when I got to a point where the pain to push was too much, she told my husband "she has to push" instead of speaking to me directly. The nurses in the room were the ones who encouraged me directly to push past the pain. They were wonderful and should probably consider becoming midwives.
If I were to have another baby I would not pick an ob.

Dr. Sal and her nurse Kim are AMAZING! My entire pre-natal experience was nothing less than amazing! They both were very caring throughout my pregnancy! There were some unforeseen circumstances that occurred during my labor and delivery but that had nothing to do with Dr. Sal or nurse Kim. I am glad I chose Southeast OB/GYN as my provider and I am more than in love with my new baby boy!

I have had 3 children w/this doctor's office and I have had nothing but friendly service from the time I walk until I leave. I've seen all the doctors and i feel very secure with all their decisions. The wonderful care goes from the receptionists all the way up to the doctors and every one in between. I especially love the nurses that you can call day or night if you have any issues. My last nurse was Karla and i absolutely loved her. Their turn around time for me when i called, was within the an hour to hear back if it was a non-emergency and when it was an emergency I spoke to someone instantly. I recommend this office to anyone woman, pregnant or not & I do plan on going back for the next pregnancy as well!
