Novant Health Huntersville OB/GYN - Huntersville

I had some really devastating news at our first appointment and the staff was fantastic. I highly recommend Dr. Ben Miles. He is wonderful. I’ve had to make multiple calls to the office and have had a few visits here over the past few weeks and have always had a positive experience. The triage nurses have been very helpful to me. Dr. Miles did surgery on me and his bedside care is beyond excellent. My husband and I were really pleased with how everything has been handled here. I’ll be sticking with this office.

I have them two stars instead of one because i have to accept responsibility for being 13 minutes late for my appt however when I called to notify them that I was running late and see if I needed to reschedule I was told that they have a 15 minute grace window and there was no need to reschedule. I arrived precisely 13 minutes after my appt time. There was no one available to help at the front desk and I had to wait for 3 minutes. By the time they took my name and information it was 2 minutes past their grace time and I was told that I would have to reschedule!! This is after I drove 30 minutes because I was told that I they had a 15 minute grace period and there was no need to reschedule. If they are going to be so strict on time that two minutes can make a difference then they need to have their front desk staffed better to intake patients in a more efficient way!!! I will be finding another ob.

I was treated unfairly after my surgery. I was in a great deal of pain and Dr. Marra did nothing to help me. I was discharged while still in a great deal of pain. Dr. Marra didn't care, all she wanted was to send me home. She didn't want to deal with it. This is not the kind of Doctor I would ever put my trust into again.

I had a decent experience with the doctors and nurse practitioners, but an awful experience with the nursing staff and communicating over the phone. Very rude and not helpful at all. Was recently diagnosed with PCOS and after the ultrasound I was told the results and given no information regarding treatment or how to manage pain. Was told it was best for me to see an endocrinologist. The NP sent over a referral, but when I got the phone call to set up that appointment I was told my that practice wasn’t covered with my insurance. When I called back to Lakeside OBGYN to get a refferal to a different practice I was told by a nurse that that she couldn’t do that and seeing an endocrinologist is pointless and it was wrong for the referral to be made in the first place. I have had nothing but bad experiences when communicating with nurses over the phone in this office. I will be going to a different OBGYN.

Had absolutely the worst experience of my life at this facility. I had a few questions on why I was being billed and as I was talking to the receptionist the doctor that I had seen. (Dr, Cassandra) came up to use and asked what I had a question/problem with so I told her as she got a attitude with me about it she pointed and said u can go check out now. Extremely rude considering she interrupted my conversation and then told me to check out/leave and my question was still never answered. Will never be back at this facility because of complete disrespect from her.
