Novant Health Providence OB/GYN - Steelecroft

There’s a reason why ALL the most recent reviews are terrible for this place. The only reason I’m giving it two stars is because the nurse practitioner and the OB are the only ones who have been helpful and kind to this first time mom. The only reason I didn’t leave this place to find another was because of how my work schedule was, I didn’t have the time to go somewhere else. Now being at 20 weeks, I have to stick it out. By the way, if you have questions you’ll have to ask them, because they don’t volunteer any information. When I went in for my first initial ultrasound, the sonographer told me I had old blood. She didn’t seem concerned about it and she didn’t tell the nurse practitioner or OB doctor to let me know that that old blood might want to make its way out. A few days later I thought I was suffering a miscarriage. Like I said, you’ll have to ask questions, especially if you’re a first time mom. I unfortunately trusted that they had my best interest, but apparently not. I went to the ER and they told me I was fine. So I called the OB GYN office to keep the updated on what was going on with my pregnancy and all they said was well I don’t know what we can do for you now. After telling them I thought I was suffering a miscarriage you’d think they would at least have some ounce of curiosity if I was ok and the baby. If you go to this OB Office, consider yourself warned.

Best Obgyn in the town hands down.. everyone is super friendly and the doctors are amazing. Booking an appointment is kinda hard, you have to book a month in advance, other than that, it is all great.

Extremely rude staff. Forget setting up an appointment I will keep looking searching.

Dr. Letham is the best! We moved to SC from Maryland last year when I was about 25 weeks pregnant. It was a very hard move for me due to the fact that I was very comfortable with my medical team in MD and it worried me that I was too far along to get acquainted with a new provider. I was 100% wrong. Dr. Letham and his team ensured that I felt comfortable and from day one it felt as if he had been my OBGYN for years. He takes his time to listen and answer questions, he is not in a big hurry (which is something I have never experienced with other providers). He is very kind and ensures we feel comfortable and informed. His team of nurses are the sweetest. I am always greeted with a smile and have the best customer service. I strongly recommend this OBGYN Team, they are great!

Dr. HULL is very Rude!!! she was not friendly or professional! Asking questions like do my kids have the same Dad... Which they do! Are my parents still together.....Really ? Very dry and rude personality! I feel like I was treated that way on purpose to make me not want to come there! I attempted texting a family member the sex of the baby and she told me to put down my phone so she can feel like I'm focused on her.( I had just picked up the phone to send the text) I would not recommend her or the Steel Creek location to anyone!
