Old Southern BBQ Smokehouse

I wasn't expecting much because it is in a strip mall but I was 100% wrong. The minute we walked through the door I knew it was going to be amazing food because it smells so good! Get the Dixie bowl. It's super fresh and delicious. I built my own and ate 1/2 of my husband's (he got the Dixie). The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Not only is the BBQ amazing, the service is crazy friendly! She took the time to answer all our questions in great detail and then checked at the table to make sure we were satisfied. The food is yummy slow cooked smoked just right and there are multiple sauses to choose from. Give 'em a try, you'll be back for more!

It tells you everything you need to know about a restaurant when you arrive during dinner rush and they are surprised by people showing for food. For a restaurant that was over staffed they were out of most sides, bread, tea and many BBQ options. What we ordered was ok. I am still on the search for good BBQ in the Midwest.

Top notch and DELICIOUS! BBQ done right! It was the worst unpredictable night of the week. The restaurant didn't expect to be busy and they were slammed. I sadly saw them hanging a sign announcing they were out of brisket. I begged and they let me sample the few pieces they had remaining. Beautiful smoke ring and fell apart with a fork. Wonderful selection of tasty BBQ sauces. I purchased a bottle of their Dixie Red. I was offered a sample of their brisket chili and it was spot on! Absolutely perfect and many thanks! Old fashioned cornbread with a touch of honey and man, it just keeps getting better. My pulled pork sandwich topped with coleslaw finally arrived. I've been honored to sample alot of food on my travels as a Truck Driver and this place has already made the list of favorites. The reviews don't lie. Be patient if they're busy because it's worth every penny! Thank you!
