Smoky Jon's #1 BBQ

Usually very very good. The sauce is great, the sides are superb, the smoked meats are simply great. I don't want to call it one of those places that is a "hole in the wall" that happens just have the best food around, but it's sort of one of those places. Like a "local secret." I'd recommend the usual smoked meats, pork shoulder or brisket. Last couple times I tried the chicken I was given an embarrassingly small breast, I'm more convinced it was a Cornish game hen. But the smoked meats usual of BBQ are fantastic. Personally I enjoy the corn as a side, buttery and terrible for you, but worth the consequences.

Unique spot near the airport. Jon really has won scores of awards for his wonderful BBQ. One of the best spots in Madison for carnivores. Great sides, esp Cole slaw.

Great local BBQ joint. But thhe best thing on the menu is the smoked sirloin cheeseburgers. These are the best cheeseburgers in Madison by far. And prices for a cheeseburger meal can't be beat anywhere else locally. The ribs are good, the brisket and pork are great, the smoked turkey is awesome and moist. But the burgers are still the best secret in town and is a wonderful hidden find. There sides are great also and fries are awesome especially with the bbq, you get with the burger meal.

It was decent, didn't taste really good, and prices were a bit high for bbq, but pretty decent food.

Typically fantastic, but everyone has an off day. Ribs were hard as a brick this time, but I know it was just a fluke. Everything else was great as always
