The initial phone call to set up the appointment was efficient and effective. They were able to call to confirm the appointment and offer information including driving directions. The greeting at the door was pleasant. The timing from arrive to leave was quite appropriate. I did not need to speak to many associates but was kindly greeted by all. The professional environment with pleasantries was appreciated. The waiting area was very comfortable and the bathroom and overall facility are and were very clean and well organized. Overall I had no complaints and appreciated everything.

Kelsey was excellent, friendly ,respectful and took most of his day (even staying beyond his scheduled time to leave) to help us find a truck which met our needs and fit into our budget. The show room is incredibly clean and pleasant to do business in. Frank made us feel comfortable with our purchase. We got a tour of the service area and the area was incredibly clean and state of the art. The y do a 150 point check of all cars purchased. Great place to look for your next set of wheels. Great guys!!!!!

Initially, I was going to look around the lot to find a car that I may be interested in. Rob came out and greeted me, and we went inside so I could tell them what I was looking for. I needed heated leather seats, a sunroof, all wheel drive, and most importantly I wanted good gas mileage!!! They were able to find me the car I was looking for and I am absolutely in love with my new car. I am so happy I went to Road Ready. See Rob and Mike, they made the process painless and easy!

Been to MANY dealerships over the years. As anyone familiar with purchasing a used vehicle the experience can be unsavory. But the staff here are keep it very interesting and comfortable (even with the "small talk")--they're conversationalists.
The atmosphere is spectacular!! Suggestions to anyone interested purchasing a used vehicles, do your research, be sure to exercise all of your leverages, don't BS--be REALISTIC. Everyone wants to be a "winner on a deal". With Road READY vs. us, both parties broke even on the deal. We're VERY satisfied and excited with our purchase.
(Loss of one star because vehicle wasn't ready until 40 minutes past scheduled pick up time--please stop using the term "detailing vehicle". It's a simple wash, wax, vacuum and tire shine, that's NOT detailing. Trust me.) ;-)
Thanks to all team members who assisted, including those who greeted us with a simple "good morning/afternoon/evening" as they walked the floor. Just amazing (compared to some sh!++y toned places scattered throughout CT.)

Lemons not Cars: Sold us a Car that couldn't even pass a state inspection!
Edit/reply : they did change out the tires but only cause they had to, this should've been done long before I even stepped into the showroom. As for the moisture, that's just a straight up lie. I spoke the head mechanic and he clearly said, "I understand it's not passing inspection, but there's nothing we can do about it "
BUYERS BEWARE:
*Tell them upfront before even sitting down, that you refuse to pay for any undercoatings. This is a common theme in other reviews, and isn't just unique to my experience
*VIN ETCHING, they charge you $500 for it, but some cars already have it done from before and can easily be done for 25$ some place else
*Make them gurantee it to you, that it will pass inspection, and not just bare minimum, Connecticut standards.
Recently bought a van from this "dealership" and was utterly disappointed and disgusted by the way they ran their store and treated us. Rude and no sense of moral honesty. Takes pride in being around for "thirty" years, yet lacks any sense of treating is customers properly. Drove down 2 hours to meet with a sales associate, and ended up putting 500$ as a down payment, if we decided to buy the car, to put it on "hold". Called 2 days later , only to find out they applied the under coating on the car I didn't even sign to buy yet! When I told them I no longer wanted the car, they threatened to revoke my $500 and not refund it, even if I didn't want to but the car! Eventually since we put $500 and spent so long driving back and fourth, we were eventually coerced and blackmailed into buying. Low and behold we took the car and ended up paying a lot more then the price they had stated excluding any tax's and flat fees, even though we emailed them, AND told them verbally to not apply any coatings whatsoever. Couple days later after we bought the car, IT COULDN'T PASS A SIMPLE STATE INSPECTION. regardless of what state it's in, a dealership that "prides itself in customer service" where "the name says it all" couldn't even pass a bare minimum state safety inspection. The tires were worn out and the front driver side headlight couldn't even project the beam properly. We called them and asked them politely to have these fix and we kept getting "we'll call you back" or "let me speak to the owner" for TWO WEEKS. Not to mention the manager hung up on us, when I clearly told him they sold us a car that couldn't even pass a state inspection 😂. they told us to bring the car down and they would take care of it, and again, poor customer service strikes again! They replaced the tired because they seemed to have a couple spare lying around, and just barely fixed the light. AND didn't even replace it! To this date the car I paid well over market price for , that was sold with 2 unsafe tires and a unsafe unable to project headlight, still couldn't pass an inspection. Apparently they've been selling cars that can't pass inspections for the last 30 years😂.
