Shrewsbury Electric and Cable Operations

Internet speeds during evenings and peak weekend times takes me back 15 years when I had the same speed. Only 10mbps download speed on a wired connection!!! Go figure. Also they charged me an installation fee because I briefly lived in Shrewsbury many years ago while it's free for new customers. Anyway, speeds need to be as advertised, at ALL times.

Pretty good service for my 2.5yrs usage. Grt download speeds and best part never had disruptions in service. It was quick installation and easy cust care process.

Always awesome service. Never had a problem they couldn't solve. Best cable phone internet company ever.

With regards to the SELCO line workers I cannot say enough good things. This last Noreaster downed a large oak tree on our property and it dragged down all the power lines + snapped the transformer pole. Power out on the entire road + the road blocked by the tree. They got one end of the road working the same night but could not get to the snapped pole same night as it was blocked by the tree (and the storm was in heavy progress). The next day they started at noon and worked steadily until 8:30 at night. They cleared the road, installed a new pole, new transformer and got 4 houses wired up. They also re-connected our phone and internet line which also came down. They worked hard. I was amazed at their perseverance to get the rest of the road powered up before nightfall. We were not even without power 24 hrs. Great job guys. I also want to mention that someone knowledgeable and professional was on the Helpdesk immediately every time we called and able to give us updates. Thank You.

Best cable and internet provider ever. If the cable goes out, they fix it immediately. There's rarely a problem with the internet, and you actually get the down/up speeds you pay for, unlike other ISPs. That's on top of the fact that their prices for the down/up speeds are better than anywhere else. Of course it's because it's run by the town, and not the corporations that helped bully the removal of net neutrality.
