Simply Southern Smokehouse

This was such a pleasant surprise. I don't normally do buffets since the food is generally sub par and less than fresh, but this place proves that a buffet can be done right with amazing food. There are not too many selections, but what they do have is out of this world. Everything we tried was top notch from the Greens to the Fried Chicken and we would definitely come back in a heartbeat if we lived in the area. Special shout out to the Sweet Potato Casserole, that was just incredible. One of the most amazing things other than the food and general service was Isaac. I guess you would call Isaac one of the servers but he was so much more. He went from table to table making everyone feel special and loved. Between shouts of "Amen!" and bouts of singing "Go tell it on the Mountain" and "Amazing" grace" he made balloon animals for all the young children. I have never experienced anything like it. The whole restaurant was clapping and singing with him. It was surreal. Isaac combined with the food makes this one special place that should not be missed!

Delicious food, decent choices for the price, comfortable atmosphere and wonderful wait staff. Our waiter actually broke out into song at one point and everyone became involved. It was surprising and delightful!! Totally enjoyed the experience here. I would return again when we are back in this area. They were also very helpful with my gluten-free restrictions-even made special entrees for me!!

We were in Myrtle Beach celebrating Mother's Day and my mom's birthday. I just googled some restaurants on the beach with buffet and decided to give the place a try with the family and the food was Great!!!! The food was delicious and we had live entertainment the guy had a wonderful and welcoming voice I don't remember his name but he made our visit good. We will be returning. If you are looking for some good food and friendly service this a the place.

Here visiting this weekend. I come every year and we seen this place this time and I'm so happy we chose to eat here. Food is great taste like Grandma's cooking. Wonderful service. And I absolutely love the employee named Issac. He had this very loving energetic attitude towards everything. Him and our waitress was on top of everything and made it a comfortable atmosphere

Absolutely love this place. Great food. Sweet Christian gentleman was our server. Sang hymns while we ate and entertained the whole dining area. He made our kids balloon animals for a reward after eating their supper. will definitely return when we come back to MB
