The leasing people in the office are very enthusiastic about showing you the apartment and making the process of moving in so easy but fail to say the things that are wrong with the apartment. For instance, those buildings were built in 1975. (They need major renovations). They’re beautiful apartments and great for a first time apartment. There are more cons that I need to point out than pros for these apartments. It’s “apartment living” I get it, but you can’t sleep, you know your neighbors schedule, and you can even hear their conversations. The floor boards are horrible!!! & no person or family should have to live like that!! When you call the office about a complaint, they say they will take care of it but really don’t. One great thing about the apartment is that the heat and hot water is included in rent BUT they control the heat so it’s always cold & the hot water isn’t really hot. Living in these apartments is miserable & it’s all a trap! They are so quick to take your rent but take so long to fix something that is wrong with the apartment. Only positive thing is the pool. The leasing agent who is the face of the leasing office named “Stephanie” needs to be more professional at her job and treat the tenants with respect! She pick and chooses who she wants to nice or rude to, she is very unhelpful when it comes to the horrible living conditions & that’s not how a office should be ran with a miserable employee like her, especially if you want people to move in to the community. She needs to smile more & be better at her profession. I would say Melissa has been very helpful through this experience, very friendly and she is very patient with her tenants.

Do not sign a lease here they are making you wave your leagle rights to move if they mess up so when my unit got flooded by the upstairs neighbors in the winter I wanted to move out to a new place they said I couldn't they said I had to move to a new unit. I just can't wait to leave.

Moved here February 2018. We really love our apartment unit. We chose the upgraded apartment unit with the granite countertops, energy efficient and newer appliances and as well the updated bathroom, that includes LED lights. Nice unit I must say. I do not know why others have complained about this apartment complex. There is a user friendly Thamesview Apartments Internet Portal where you can pay for your monthly rent, report any discrepancies, and communicate with the Front Leasing Office. The feature to report discrepancies has been useful and helpful to me since I have two jobs and do not really have much time to stop by the office to talk to the Staff. When I entered discrepancies, the front office called me up the very next day to have their maintenance staff fix a apartment building spot light, and the next day it was up and running. I am also glad to see that now there is warmer weather, the maintenance staff is fixing up the outside surroundings (i.e. blowing down our parking lots); that means a good deal to us tenants. Also, the gym at this apartment complex is pretty nice. It is convenient to have a bathroom at the gym, especially once the long awaited pool opening happens (can't wait for that). If you're looking for a decent priced apartment with a nice view of Thames River, this may be the place you've been looking for. Parking is decent - it's first come, first serve basis. But the greatest thing my baby and I love is the Heat, Hot Water, and Trash Removal is INCLUDED in the rent! REALLY HANDY DURING THE SNOWING / WINTER MONTHS!!! The only other thing you have to pay is your utility bill (and internet & cable if you need). I am looking forward to spending the summer here. Enjoy y'all.

DONT MOVE HERE. This is the worst complex I’ve probably ever lived at. Nothing gets fixed (ever), the “heat and hot water” that is included is a JOKE, you can hear everything from your neighbors as if you were in the same room, the stairways smell like urine, the laundry is the biggest pain in the a$$, the pool is dirty and so if the “gym” that is filled with broken equipment. The ladies at the front office are so rude and unhelpful. I absolutely hate it here and can’t wait to move in the next few months. This place is a nightmare.

DONT move here!!! All the girls in the office are terrible and rude they don’t help with anything, the guys that are suppose to “fix” things when you call never come. Then when you call again to see where they are days later they give you even more of an attitude. I’ve had people urinating and other disgusting things in my stairwell which they never cleaned, even after I called about it, I had to go into the office and threaten them with calling Chanel 3 news, all while a worker guy was screaming at me that he “can’t clean everything up” while I’m holding my 2 year old daughter. Extreamly unprofessional. The list goes on, my apartment had flooded before I moved in they never told me and then I noticed mold under my sink, they never fixed it. EVERYTHING to do with this place sucks and is 100% unprofessional. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
