Elephants live upstairs with a dog who has separation anxiety and barks incessantly. Complained to management who has done nothing about the problem. Takes them 3 days to clear snow out of any parking lot. Water has a nasty taste, and causes gross brown gunk to build up on faucets. Can't get any cable/internet provider other than xfinity. Rent is ridiculous for what you get. There's a monthly trash fee, but you have to take your own trash to a separate building in the very front of the complex. There are natural gas leaks all the time, fire department is here at least 3 times per month. Maintenance insists that these gas "odors" in the hallways are normal and totally safe. Apartments don't come with ceiling lights in the bedrooms, and they wanted $50 per room to install them. Paint and trim are falling apart. Not a lot of storage for how big the apartment is. Parking is never enforced and lots are often full with non-residents. Gym has mostly broken equipment and limited free weights. Outdoor pool is closed most of the time. Fire alarm is located close enough to the stove to go off any time the stove is used.... to name a few complaints.....

My roommate and I were both very busy / gone during the 60 day prior window and missed it. Being military we've done this before, so I put in the 30 day notice (thinking that was adequate / the standard, as it is everywhere else i've been)... So, 60 days later and an extra 1500 each (yes, they totally screwed us with month-to-month), we're finally out of there. They have zero remorse and zero wiggle room on anything involving money, they're absolutely a money-first kind of joint. Also, the buildings are very cheap, so if you like listening to your neighbors, it's the place for you!

If you're looking for an expensive apartment with basic appliances and high fees look no further. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR LEASE. We assumed (being military and moving around the country a lot) that this place did a standard 30 day notification to move. It is 60 days in the lease. If you still decide to live here please don't forget that as they will be no help if you explain yourself and there is no mercy. Oh and its a 35% increase in the extra month(s) you will have to pay if you extend your lease. And once you're done paying that extra 2000$+ you will then receive a nice bill for carpet replacement as normal carpet stains cannot be cleaned with their chemicals. The bill for a 1500 sqft carpet replacement is over 1000$. No negotiations since we've already moved and the apartment is no longer ours to clean even if we wanted to do it ourselves. I've moved 8 times in the past 5 years and I can honestly say that this is by far the greediest rental business I have come across. If you are willing to pay for mediocre amenities, appliances, and customer service then please ignore this review.

I lived here for a year and I appreciated the experience. The floors seemed a bit thin, I heard my upstairs neighbor every time someone in heels walked across the hard floors but that was it. Every experience I had with the staff was exceptional: maintenance staff was responsive, helpful, personable and effective. The leasing office personnel were willing to work with me and help work around some package issues I had during my time there, and were as helpful as could be the rest of the time. The facilities were wonderful; it was very nice having a pool and work out center on site. I would say this was a great place to live, but the only thing I would say against it is the price seemed a tad high. Other than the price, I would recommend it highly.

The Ledges Apartments are the nicest apartments you'll find in Groton. The pool is spectacular but my son and I frequently got colds after swimming in it. The gym and clubhouse are nice. We had more of an issue with the surrounding neighborhood and CT in general - VERY isolating and a depressed neighborhood. The new management is fair. Some unfriendly some not. Maintenance is timely. Appliances are dated and low quality. Overall we liked the apartment and terrace and surrounding grounds are immaculate.
