having a kiosk in the lobby and P. O. Boxes available 24/7 makes this particular location a little easier of a place to do mailing. It is too bad that it's located in a weird area, at least for myself since my ZIP code is served only by the Detached Carrier Unit off of Wilson who will take your shipment-ready parcels or hand over your mail they have on hold to you if you have ID, but will not/have no ability to conduct postage purchase transactions, the implications of which evidently also revokes their authorization to provide any information about mailing questions you may have, other than pointing to a piece of paper they've printed out and slipped into a plastic sleeve and taped on their barricaded window/counter that has the address for this Post Office on 4th Street, and telling you to go here.

This is less a review of the location but more about the fact that USPS no longer sorts mail here anymore. What I mean by that is all mail "sent" in Bend now goes over to Portland to be sorted. The irony: mail such as invoices or payments sent from Bend to Bend now take 2 days. Mail sent from Bend to Portland or visa versa takes just 1 day. Disappointing, considering the population of Bend is continuing to grow at a fast rate. I understand this local office likely had nothing to do with this potential cost cutting scheme but frustrating nonetheless.

Best Post Office I’ve ever been to. Always nice, cheerful, remember people who come frequently, big shout outs to them. They really make my business run smoother.

Staff are always quick & friendly to me. Other than occasional long line it's a good experience.

Scum of the earth. They no longer deliver my packages or pick them up. They will not answer the phone or provide any level of service. Shameful!
