Vacationhit - Property Management and Vacation Rentals since 1997

If I could leave a 0 I would! I have never been so dissatisfied with a rental company ever in my life. Upon arrival we arrived to a filthy pool so we called and that was addressed. The refrigerator didn’t work for four days that we were there and they wheeled in another fridge for us to use out of the garage that one also died. Meanwhile 2 refrigerators were running. The ice machine didn’t work to dispense ice, the remotes didn’t work (even after changing batteries) the dumpsters were so filled with trash maggots poured all over the roadway when the trash truck came and the smell was horrendous. The air ducts were clogged so there was no a/c in back bedroom, the vents in the bathroom were filthy black I wanted find a ladder and clean them myself. There were multiple light bulbs out, and the sink in the master bathroom was clogged. Not to mention when the rental company came to address some of these issues we gave him a list that he took with him he looked at the fan that was also not working and he ripped the pull cord right off. Here is a bonus if you want to use the gas grill you buy the gas and then the next ten renters have free gas and I was told that “ that’s just luck of the draw” this company is completely unprofessional and I would highly suggest you look elsewhere before renting from here! We stayed at House Palms. Vacationhit says that the owner is not willing to compensate any of the rental except $50 for the electric even though you go on vacation to relax and not be a homeowner. What a joke this place is!

I booked a vacation rental with Vacationhit a few months ago. The house was just as described online. The whole booking process was simple and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had a great vacation and would recommend Vacationhit to everyone looking for a superb vacation in Cape Coral.

We stayed at the gorgeous House Sunshine... It was everything we wanted. The house was immaculate and we received outstanding customer service that made our vacation that much more enjoyable. We WILL be coming back!!!

The booking process was simple. Great customer service from Kevin. The house was very clean and fully furnished. Highly recommended!

We recently stayed at the beautiful Tuscany Home in Cape Coral from July 26- August 1st. The home was simply beautiful and the views were amazing. To be clear, I have zero problem with the property itself. My husband and I have made it a habit to stay in homes anytime we are out of town which is fairly frequent (6-10 times per year). This is the single worst experience we have ever had which we are attributing to the management company itself. 1. There were ants throughout the kitchen- they brought bait traps when we brought it to their attention however there were already multiple traps throughout which didn't seem to be making a difference. 2. There wasn't any extra toilet paper so we called and were told that they only provide 1 roll per bathroom for the entire stay and that we could just go to the store and buy a roll. My husband essentially told her that wasn't going to happen and they would need to be bringing us more toilet paper. They accommodated us and brought more. We were there for 6 days and are a family of 4. I have never stayed anywhere that didn't provide toilet paper. It shouldn't even be a question. Hotels are cheaper than these homes and toilet paper is ALWAYS available. 3. There were no extra garbage bags- again, my husband had to get irritated for them to provide. 4. 30 minutes prior to our departure the water was shut off. This delayed us from leaving on time as I had to use the bottles of water that I had in order to clean the house and get my children ready. We couldn't even flush the toilets! 5. No laundry detergent- I realize this is not a necessity however I do want to note that in all the homes we have stayed at over the years, even the super inexpensive ones that we stay at for 1 night, always has laundry detergent. 6. Multiple light bulbs were out throughout the home. 7. The Xfinity box was not updated (which is free) so it prevented us from even using our own Netflix account. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal but we had a few rainy days so watching some tv would have been nice. This home cost is approximately $3000 for 6 nights. That's around $450+ per night. These items are minuscule and simple things that make staying in a vacation home feel like home...which I thought was the point. It's unfortunate because this home is simply exquisite but we will never stay at any home again if VacationHit is the management company.
