Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream

When a business doesn't accept cash, they alienate poor people, people with bad credit and those with maxed out cards. There are also racial implications, people of color don't use credit cards as much. Customers are put in embarrassing situations after they are handed a cone, take a bite, then are informed that cash is not accepted for their $4 transaction. They also involve banks in the transaction and subject people to paying interest. The clerk says that it prevents theft. My advise to the owners is to get your house in order. Figure out a way to deal with your internal problems without burdening your customer. I will never go back.

I didn't know someone could love ice cream as much as I love the ice cream from Van Leeuwen's. The vegan flavors are incredibly rich and delicious, and the "regular" flavors are no less impressive. My favorites are the (regular) Earl Grey and (vegan) chocolate-chip cookie dough, although the Special Flavor (vegan) dark matter (vegan honeycomb with charcoal) will be my go-to until it disappears.

Interesting flavors. Good vegan variety if that's your thing. Friendly staff. Important! No cash accepted.

Great flavors especially honey comb its amazing. Earl grey is good too. And they are open till late

Great ice cream! So glad I got the waffle cone. Wife loved the cup.
