Van Leeuwen Ice Cream

Probably the best ice cream in Brooklyn. My personal favorite flavors are Honey Comb, Pistachio and Salted Caramel. I've yet to try any of the vegan flavors but they all look really great. This place is super popular so expect a line! Also a scoop is over $5 so it is a little pricey but they use super high quality ingredients so you get what you pay for. It's probably more cost efficient to just buy a pint for $10 and split it between a few people.

I didn't know someone could love ice cream as much as I love the ice cream from Van Leeuwen's. The vegan flavors are incredibly rich and delicious, and the "regular" flavors are no less impressive. My favorites are the (regular) Earl Grey and (vegan) chocolate-chip cookie dough, although the Special Flavor (vegan) dark matter (vegan honeycomb with charcoal) will be my go-to until it disappears.

Place has excellent hours. Great vegan menu. I melted once I finished my Planet Earth (almond ice cream that's blue with matcha cake bits) and Strawberry Cookie Jam scoops. I appreciate that it is cash less and the second associate saw that we were on line for five minutes and took our order ahead of time. Space is a bit cramped but I also like how there are vegan milkshakes and sundaes too. I definitely will go back. Bf loved his Cheesecake scoop as well.

The ice cream was delicious and so smooth! Heads up that this is a card only place. Cute and cozy atmosphere
