The original venue is something I miss, but the current place is great. A LOT more room to get around. The bartenders and staff are friendly. Even the decorations, the view of the Wisconsin River, and fish tank give the resort a touch of class. As for the food that includes the buffet, I enjoy it and never came away feeling unimpressed. Definitely worth the drive.

Fantastic soup & salad bar, delicious Friday night Fish fry, amazing steaks and seafood! Wait staff always focused on the customers, even when very busy! For a special dining experience, grab a table on the patio outside and watch the sunset melt into the Lower Wisconsin River! Never disappointed! 🤗

Very nice campground! Clean and well maintained. Food served at the restaurant is excellent! Friendly bartenders and wait staff. We will definitely be back!

We stayed overnight in one of their smaller cabins. The cabins are nice with a full size well built bunk bed and a futon. The mattresses are comfortable enough. The bathroom is large and has a toilet and sink. There is a microwave, small fridge and small coffee pot. Not much is included so be sure to bring all utensils, plateware and drinkware for preparing and eating meals. There is a charcoal grill and picnic table at each unit. The cabins back up near the river. There is a restaurant and store at the office that carries everything from can openers to bug spray. An overnight stay includes wrist bands to get you into the pool and mini golf. There is a small play ground available. There is also a lagoon with lots of inflatables that you can pay extra for as well as boat rentals. Overall, great experience just wish a little more was provided it the kitchenette area. Bring good quality bug spray.

Did not stay, but had food. Been a few times & have not been disappointed. Pizza Buffet for a group & it was delicious. Also had the Friday fish, was good, service was quick, but our waiter was a bit forgetful. I like that it's situated back by the river & it makes for great views on evenings it stays a bit lighter out.
