hello; As every body we appreciated the place and the staff. Nevertheless , we had a safety issue in one of their hide, even having respected the safety rules. I understand completely that wild animals are unpredictable, but the lodge didn't take at all in consideration the damage no insurance, no commercial action, no compassion.... Not professional at all on this aspect : hope they have a real insurance in case of critial issue be carefull .
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated with the utmost attention to detail and care. The game viewing was something dreams are made of and definitely was made entertaining and educational every minute through.Rooms: 5/5
AMAZING PLACE! Everything was perfect! Every detail was taken care of. The staff is fantastic, the safaris are AMAZING!!, the rangers really know the bush, you will really spend an unbelievable time. Rooms and food are just superb! You can’t miss it! You will regret it! If you want to go on safari you MUST go to Jaci’s Lodges!
Once in a lifetime experience. The staff were super friendly, food exquisite and abundant game sightings definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Special mention to David our safari guide. Never met someone with so much knowledge and experience of wildlife. An eye opener. Kenney our chef surpassed our expectations with every meal served. Mooketsi made sure we were always comfortable. Rooms were top class. Congrats to Jan and Jaci for managing a very successful lodge.
Incredible, incredible, incredible!! Words cannot describe the experiences here. We saw so much game it was unbelievable, including 4 of the big 5 at ONE sighting! Food and accommodation was perfect! And the staff cannot be complimented enough! A perfect breakaway from the madding crowds!!
What a lovely experience! Tsholo was an amazing Guide and got us up close to some amazing animals including lions and wild dogs! The staff are so friendly and will go the extra mile to ensure you have a comfortable stay. The Nare Suite is gorgeous, with herds of elephants passing by daily to drink and play in wet lands right next to the fence under the balcony. Such a beautiful and quiet reserve where one can enjoy the tranquillity of nature without so much commercialism as in other big reserves.
On arrival we were greeted enthusiastically by Manie and James and shown to our rooms - the rooms are breathtaking and really fit perfectly into the surrounding environment. As soon as we were settled we went to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast on the deck overlooking the lodge. Things continued to get better - spotting 4 of the big 5 on our first game drive was very exciting and made possible by our exceptionally knowledgeable guide Thomas. We made sure that we experienced everything that Jaci's Tree Lodge has to offer, including spending a night at the hide overlooking a water hole where we witnessed 2 elephants taking a bath in the moonlight!! The food was absolutely delicious and the fact that we enjoyed each meal in a different location added to the whole delightful experience. Solly the chef was on hand and catered to our every need with a friendly smile. We were really impressed with all the staff at the lodge, nothing was ever too much effort, they truly understand the meaning of service and guest relations. Overall it was a 5 star experience and we definitely hope to visit again soon!
One of the best safari experiences that we as a family could have wished for. Jaci's Safari lodge is amazing for families Jaci's Tree Lodge is more for couples and those wanting to avoid kids. The food is seriously good, The staff are absolutely amazing, and the rooms are tented, rather large and well furnished and very warm in winter. Wildlife in this area of the Madikwe is fantastic. NOTE: the hide and the waterhole is one of the best I have ever visited - it is sunken down to water level and the sightings from here are fantastic.
Jaci’s Lodges is heaven on earth. If you go to Madikwe Jaci’s is the hotel to go, you will not regret it. Every single detail is taken care of, you don’t have to worry about anything, just relax and enjoy the stay! The staff is great, the food is delicious and the safaris are amazing! An incredible time is guaranteed.Rooms: 5/5
