THE GREATEST OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! We had an FANTASTIC experience today shopping for furniture. The sales representative that helped us was a gentleman by the name of Rod. He was EXCELLENT, EXTREMELY PATIENT AND FULL OF KNOWLEDGE! which was HIGHLY BENEFICIAL in guiding us to select the proper furniture with respect to our desires. Rod spent several hours with us and was COMPASSIONATE AND KIND the entire time until we finally decided to purchase. We will be returning again next week to meet up with Rod to continue our search for more furniture to to complete our home. Kathleen, the store manager was also AWESOME AND CARING IN EVERY ASPECT OF OUR NEEDS! She answered every one of our questions with the UTMOST PRECISION with regards to purchasing, financing and delivery . Her INTEGRITY in customer relations is UNSURPASSED! Both Kathleen and Rod are examples of the UTMOST IN OUTSTANDING REPRESENTATION of the company they are affiliated with. Please, if you are in need of furniture for your home, do not hesitate to come to American Signature Furniture and experience this for yourselves. Amazing service is good business! As a life-long American signature furniture customer and store credit card holder, I am proud to share my experience at ASF Governors square, Bear, DE I went into the store today with a complaint about my sofa set that I bought few years ago currently under warranty. I wanted it to be fixed and at the earliest like every customer demands it. The "store manager - Kathleen" has explained it could not be done as it was discontinued product and this particular issue could not be fixed. I was genuinely upset and felt helpless and didn't know what to do, but went on with my saga. I think "Kathleen has put herself in my shoes" and made few phone calls to corporate office and finally called her manager who was on vacation on a Saturday evening. After profound discussion, I thought she would make some concession and refund my warranty money back. Completely to my surprise "she offered refund for entire price of the sofa set". I was speechless and amazed from then on it was cake walk. "Ron" the sales consultant (I called him the "easy" guy - as he pretty much knew everything about the products) showed us around the store - all sofa sets and finally we got a sectional! "Hooray". All this in an hour. Here is what makes this a great lesson in amazing customer service: - They were willing to listen my problem. Had Kathleen not taken the initiative, I wouldn’t have known what to do. - My problem became her problem, took ownership of the problem. I didn’t have to do anything but accept her help and support. - Kathleen came up with an immediate solution to get me a replacement Sofa set and even though I wasn’t expecting going home with new sofa, I did! - This is “business as usual.” What I realized, shortly after the visit, was that American Signature Furniture does this every day for their customers, with already lowest prices in the market. They do this all of the time. They have a system and a procedure to protect their customers, and that’s reassuring. This is more than customer service. This is confidence creation. Confidence comes from trusting a company like American Signature Furniture. A company’s product becomes everyday part of life, their people have to create a great service experience, and it has to be consistent. It has to be good all of the time, not some of the time. The goal is for the customer to “own” the experience. And when that experience is consistently better than average, the company is operating in the zone of "Amazement". American Signature Furniture has amazed me!

My husband and I have bought a lot of furniture from Value City Furniture, but I had to leave a review because of the wonderful customer service of THIS store in Bear, Delaware. Everyone in the store was very friendly and our salesman Rod was very knowledgeable about every piece of furniture we were interested in seeing. He knew where everything was and spent time with us measuring and was very patient as I made decisions. I also want to thank the manager Kathleen for her smile, exuberant personality and invaluable assistance in our purchases and financing. Please come to this store for your furniture needs, I promise you will be taken care of beautifully.

I bought two beds at this store over the expanse of two years. The first bed was high quality by their standards and over 1400. I had a pleasant experience. I was not high pressured; however, the bed was a lot firmer than the store display. I went back to buy a second bed and it was even more firm than the display. I tried the second bed out for 7 days and it hurt my back. Additionally the bed was wider than my queen box frame. It overlaps by 1 inch. I called to ask about returning it. I have received different responses about their return policy. I tried talking to the manager and leaving my number. I never received a call back. I received a call from the assistant who was relating messages from the manager. They advise they don’t return mattresses. The return policy on the receipt says mattresses must be returned in their original packaging within 7 days; this is absurd as the delivery men take it out of the packaging. I have asked how often they rotate their stock and received no response. I have also asked how do I know what I am really buying if all the mattresses in the store are more worn than the actual mattress. They advised kids jump up and down on the mattresses in the store. I called the corporate office and spoke to their customer service. They returned my calls. The manager of the store still has not. I will not buy anything from this store again as I feel it is very deceitful.

We initially went to look for just a couch for my sons first apartment...we were greeted by Mercedes who was very friendly and knowledgeable! She suggested we look a this particular couch and chair after we told that we were looking for a couch. My son loved the couch and chair (bonus) right away and it was very reasonably priced (less than the price of the other couches were were looking at (2nd bonus). We were then quickly checked out by Kathleen and Alec who both also very helpful. I highly recommend American Signature for their great selection and excellent customer service!!
