Lauren and the crew were awesome and handled my situation quickly. This company is easy to get ahold of on the phone or at the office. Everyone I’ve talked to has been super nice and helpful. Thanks for everything

I have called at least twice with a particular question. No I don’t handle that. So and so is at lunch or not available right now but you can leave a message. I leave a message. I have yet to receive a call back. Poor poor customer service. And The Preserve residents pay for better service than this

May 8th now... i have recieved a call about a week ago and gotten everything worked out... I will say this, it had to take a review such as this to get them to make something happen... They did apologize though... i don't how sincere she was but I accept it... bottom line I was wrongfully charged and they made it right... hooray for mckay!!!
Reveiw 1 of 2 April 3th 2018
April 17 2018 now!!!
I havent recieved a call yet in response to this review I placed 2 weeks ago...
I moved to Park Trace in April 2016... I'm married with three children a dog and my mother lives with me... We are black Americans and my wife and I , which are disabled veterans have proudly served in the United States Armed Forces ( Air Force and Army).
I'm not going to tell about every experience but will touch on the main ones because I may have to take Mckay to court before we sell our house because I'm sure I will have Lein on my property after this reveiw.
Just to put it out there, I have received a letter saying I have to pay over 1000 dollars in fines for a sidewalk I did not paint... The fine is supposed to accrue late fees and it has been a few months and I haven't recieved anything in regards to the fine accruing late fees...
Now, I would like to start by saying McKay never showed up to closing and we never recieved any correspondence covering the bylaws, rules or covenants... We recently learned that the swim and tennis club was separate from the actual hoa Mckay... so we had to pay two years of past dues... which is okay-but an inconvience. No one noticed that this was issue? I had to take two years for them to tell us this, wow!
Before we could get moved in good we recieved a letter stating that we need to move the trash from the street which was left by the previous owner and even though a bulk trash collector comes regularly to pick up this type of trash yet they still wanted us to have this removed and our name was also on the letter so it was not directed towards the previous owner... I did not think anything of it...
We recieved another letter stating we have to rid our yard of weeds and we did... but we received another and there was no weeds present... so I emailed them to come out and show us where the weeds were and we recieved no response to date...
I recieved another letter, among other that I did not mention, for over 1000 dollars for a sidewalk and stairs that were painted before we acquired the property.
BTW I HAVE ALWAYS RECORD EVERY PHONE CALL EVEN BEFORE MOVING HERE TO PARK TRACE.
I have sent them proof that these things were painted before we moved in from Google earth... My neighbors also know this and will testify in court on our behalf...
This all started when our neighbors' dogs were let loose to deficate, urinate and run our company of friends off...
I tried to resolve this with our neighbors before call the Dog man... he has had this problem with them before...
I have talked to my mental health doctor and I still feel like I'm walking on eggshells around my very own home.
It should never be this hard to live in something you are paying for...
I told them I will not be paying this because it is false and instructed them to take me to court but they say they will not take us to court and that's probably because they can put a lien on your property for non patment. And if you take them to court they will find a loop hole or some kind of wiggle room with the high profile lawyers they have in place... in the end you they will get your property because ymif you lose you will have to pay your lawyer and their lawyer fees which will be on the thousands and the end result? Well, you will lose your home...
I have sent in recording and they said I'm still go in to pay... I've called and talked to a lady, will not display her name here but she had hung up on me when I told her I will try something else... she hung unmistakably hard and it was loud and I have it recorded as well.

This company will "rape" you with fees... I recently closed on my home in a neighborhood where Associa/McKay Mngmt "manage" the HOA. I had not only did I have to pay $200 on the annual dues, BUT they wanted another $250 to for an "Assessment" letter, another $15 "convenience" fee AND bc the attorneys sec. requested the letter a day before closing they wanted another $150 "expediting" fee. I'm sorry, but $615 for a couple of quickly typed docs is BULL! BBB which Associa is a member of is my next stop...OH, and don't ask them what the charges are for. They will only give you generic terms. They can't justify charging this much money. Associa/McKay is a complete sham.

I only give this place 5 stars because of Casie. She is always available to take my calls. I can never speak to my association manager or any manager for that matter because none of them will take my call or call me back no matter how many times I call. I think Casie is in the financials department, but anytime I call, I now call her directly because I know she will answer the phone and will give me the information I need whether it pertains to her department or not. She is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I really hope she stays with McKay because I think they would be lost without her!
