Brunswick Apartments

So far, so good. Not expensive, not bad, allow pets, neighbors seem fine.

Worst place to rent, I didn't live there personally but my parents did and let me just say, not mentioning any names but, the lady in the office, has no business working there. She is extremely unprofessional. My parents and my brother both lived in the complex and while my brother still lives there he was not on my parents lease therefore any information about their rent was not his business and she would contact my brother instead of my parents. My parents just moved out last month and my mom always had the lady in the office take her payment out of her banking account. The last day my mom moved she went to the office and asked her if she had taken care of everything and she told her yes. Well since my name was on the lease I received a letter in the mail today pertaining to my parents final bill, which included three different water bills. She never once tried to contact my mother or even my brother who still lives there. This lady in the past didn't have any issues contacting him about my parents but this time she sends me a letter stating I have seven days to respond. She has my mom's phone number, and my mom has contacted her on multiple occasions asking about when she would receive her security deposit back and not one time did she mention anything to my mother about her final bill. She told my mom it would be returned in 30 days. So this place may be one of the cheapest places to rent in Morgantown, it is very poorly and unprofessionally ran. And if I could give it no stars, I would. I will also be contacting the BBB and filing a report if I can.

The Brunswick Apts are pretty good, when I moved to the area I wanted to rent a place that was affordable, but not a bad place. Brunswick is exactly that for me: affordable, not luxury apts, not the slums. Morgantown is full of college jerks, but Brunswick doesn't attract that crowd at all. Most of the people who live here are adult to elderly working people. Biggest problem - as has been before stated - is contacting the management. You can always leave a message for the landlord and she will call you back in a few days, but I hope I don't have anything too immediate because even when moving in it was hard to contact these people. The landlord is really nice, the maintenance guys are a little bit rough talking but not bad people. They can just be a little hard to contact.
