Mountain Valley Apartments

I lived there almost 10 years ago, when it was first built and the paint was still drying. I was promised to be matched with an appropriate roommate. As a PharmD student, they should have placed me with another graduate tennent. During the last three months of my lease, they moved in an 18 year old girl who had just graduated HS and was extremely irresponsible and misbehaved. Despite my protest they told me to deal with it. I was spending $1200 a month for one room of a 2bdrm apartment and having to babysit. I told management I would have to leave if they didn't remove her. They did not so I left. Several years later I found out they sent my last 2 months to collections. I still refuse to pay it. I rather take an underwrite then give these people anymore money.

I love living here! The staff is wonderful, management is very qualified and maintenance has very hard working individuals.

PLEASE DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! I am a current resident and this place is a total rip off. It it way overpriced for the quality and the staff members are beyond rude. We were charged an extra $75 out of nowhere (FROM DECEMBER) this month and they gave us no warning. The dog park is disgusting, and there is poop spread all over the sidewalks from lazy owners. We put in work orders in August that have yet to be taken care of (it’s March). We have also had snakes and mice in our apartment and when we complained about it they said “Oh it’s no big deal, that happens to me all the time”. Again, I am telling you, please save your money and move somewhere else. We can’t wait to move out!!!

This complex not living up to their sales pitch. *Waited 2-6 week’s for appliance repairs. *Gym was closed for 3 months and is reaccuring. *Vast majority of gym equipment is broken or on last leg. *Limited Club House/ Business Lab evening hours *Accounting Issues, not properly applying payments to rent. *Mountains of trash bags around complex. *Full Trash bins (including dog litter bins). * Hot Tubbroken/ or out of gas for nearly 1/3 Summer *Pool had green in it at end of summer *Rising rent, year to year *I could go on..

Mountain Valley is great. In living here over almost two years this has been a great experience. I plan to continue to live here for at least the next year or two! Extremely friendly staff, great maintenance, and very nice apartments.
