Worst customer service experience of my life. After two months and multiple attempts to get power set up properly at a new residence our meter booted twice in error...the customer service people just can't seem to get it right. You guys have a real issue in customer service and it seems like an infrastructure problem too: mismanagement that's resulting in turning off a customer's power in error. Your manager "Ken" couldn't help at all either, seems his hands are tied...you need to empower your leadership to help resolve some issues. I'd love to talk to a customer relations person and explain the issue/problems so you guys can improve on this.

Absolutely horrible. The woman kept back talking the entire conversation, and said that because they were a utility company a lot of times they can’t give desirable service....

They suck I called them about scheduling a payment and i was told no because it was past due and was turned off. But the auto voice machine told me I can pay the 85 right away to not get it turned off. My fiance then called 5 mins later and they charged us 530 !!!!!! Our bill total was 220 or something I called them and they made us pay another 260 deposit just to have it turned back on. That we wont get till 9-12 months!

Broke into my locked, gated, private property without notification to install a meter. I asked the contractors to leave immediately and they just insulted me. Called Duke and they gave me the run around for half an hour. Called the police and they've received multiple complaints in my area.

Randomly surged bills exceeding your property’s typical billing history, no explanations no customer service but hey, it’s a monopoly since you don’t have a choice. Suck balls duke. 😘
