Reviews
As another reviewer said, I would give this zero stars. Do not listen to the other reviews, for either here or the one in the Industrial Park at Waldorf. I went to this DMV for my first road driving test, and as soon as I got up to the desk to hand over my paperwork, all 3 people working in that area had bad attitudes. The person that examined me was the rudest person I’ve ever met. I failed of course, due to the fact that he made me more nervous. I went to the DMV in Waldorf, and the person I went up to to hand in my paperwork was as nice as could be. When I went to take the road test, the examiner was just the same, I passed and got my license all within 1 hour.

The worst experience of my life. They need to get their process in line. They are incompetent. Hour and hours wasted. Wish I could give them a 0.

One of the most terrible, stressful days of my life. My tester for the driving test was extremely condescending and not understanding at all. I have severe anxiety and I relatively told her that when i'm extremely anxious I will rub my face to try and keep myself from panicking. Instead of her trying to be nicer or at least explain herself more, she continued to be rude, making me rub my face more, which she would respond with "Every time you take your hand off the wheel I'm taking that off your score" like she just wanted me to fail. Maybe if you werent so rude and terrible to people with issues, I Wouldn't have been so anxious, and I wouldnt have cried the entire drive, making me confused on the road.
By the way, having somebody who barely knows you yell at your face "Why are you crying?" In a more annoyed than understanding way, NEVER feels good.
Staff at the counters were nice, but I hope ill never have to go back there.

I wish I could give less than one star, but that's the minimum rating. I called ahead of time about having a title transferred to MD, with two people on the title. Specifically, I needed to know if it was okay if only one of us showed up. I was told that as long as we were both on the title, it was okay for one of us to come. I asked again, does the other person need to do ANYTHING? They said, no. Simple, right? Well of course when I went in, waited an hour, and was then told that the second person needed to sign paperwork as well as provide copies of their driver's license and proof of address, I was slightly annoyed. Um, what?? The second person in the matter does not live here, and has limited contact/connection at the moment. The supervisor pried into the details of that "situation", to which I told her that that was unrelated to the matter of titling the car. She even went on to suggest that I could "simply" go get a Power of Attorney or take the case to court back in the state that the car is registered and titled, or just remove myself from MY car's title. How would that help me? I tried to do everything I could to get my car titled in Maryland today and be legally responsible, but I guess I'll just have to chance it now when I am driving since my registration expires in a couple of weeks. THANKS MVA!!!

We just got done at the Loveville MVA to re-register the 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 as a historic vehicle. We made plans late in the afternoon and knew that we would be arriving about 20 minutes before closing. I thought I had grabbed the correct title from the safe and ran out of the house. Traffic held us up a little and we arrived at 4:17pm. A quick stop at the front counter and we had a number and an application. Within seconds our number was called and we proceeded to the desk where we apologized for not having had time to filled out the app. Within moments we discovered that we were even less prepared since in my haste I had grabbed the title for the Toyota "truck". Ugh! As my wife was apologizing and preparing to leave the attendant made the inclination that she could look up the requisite info. Completion of the app and payment was processed quickly and we departed with new historic license plates. We walked in at 4:17 and walked out at 4:24 - 7 minutes!
What an amazingly smooth experience, thank you Loveville MVA!
