I went to take my Learner’s Permit Test yesterday, and when I was called up to take my picture and give my information a very nice guy helped me out. I went with my mom and he was very polite to the both of us. Made me feel comfortable before going to take the test, the other employees weren’t so polite. Its as if they always have an attitude or something but he was nice. He told us his name is Lamont. Keep it up Lamont, thanks for assisting my mom and me!

The mva has made some changes in the past few months. Yes, there is 1 line for the information counter and it's labeled as such. Do not stop at the driver's test/tag return counter to get a ticket number or ask questions, you will only waste your time. If you have an appointment (not involving a road test or a knowledge test retake) please let the agent know as soon as you get to the (info) counter. If you have to renew your license/id, please make sure you are not one of the many people who have to bring all your docs (a yellow slip in your renewal letter is an indication you have to)- DO NOT bring a photocopy of a birth certificate and social security card. Helpful tips: once you get your ticket: go to the grey benches for anything involving your vehicle, if you missed your number being called go to the supervisor station and ask to put your number back in the queue. For id, driver license, and learner's permit: go to the blue benches, if you missed your number go to the supervisor station and ask to put your number in the queue.

The staff are RUDE!!! The morale is sad you can feel the tension between the employees and they take it out of the customers.
They need more staff, better trained and professional it’s a big mess

MVA is by far the worst organization I’ve had to deal with. It’s even worst knowing that it’s a government organization, they have no interest in helping you out, just getting you out of the door as quick as they can.
MAJORITY of the employees could care less. They’re rude and inconsiderate. They will make you come back 10 times, as long as you’re “taken” care of.
I’m sure the government isn’t too concerned with customer service, but seriously.. Please stop hiring people that clearly hate being there and have must have some issues of their own.

Today I took the skills test at MVA-Largo. My appointment was at 3:15pm. I checked in 30 min. earlier. The lady in the check in desk was efficient and polite, she called my name around 3:10pm and told me to get my car and drive it into the waiting lane for the test. One car was already in the lane when I got into the queue, I waited for 15 minutes or so, then the instructor arrived, made the safety inspections and started the test. She was kind and courteous, she even tried to say some words in Spanish (my 1st language) which made me smile. She was clear with the instructions, she was focused and with good attitude the entire time. I passed the test (yay!); and even the lady that helped me in the last step (the one who gives you the interim document and process your payment) was nice. I feel I had to write this review b/c it is unfair to only take the time to do it when we have an awful experience and not when we have a GREAT and UNEXPECTED one. I wish I had gotten their names.
