Not your usual state park, but super neat place to spend the day. It’s a small parking area with a trail (1/2 mile or so) across the street leading to a small beach. The beach is very quiet and secluded. There were only two or three other people there the whole time we were there and the were way down at the other end of the beach. We spent our time playing with our dogs in the water and looking for sharks teeth. We weren’t looking very hard, but it seemed like every time we looked down there one was! They were pretty small, but it was still fun and exciting!

4pm the kids and I were hanging out looking for shark teeth and fossils and all of a sudden my daughter and I heard a whirlpool sound from a distance and the tide just rises up.
I took my 3y/o out of the water right away and my daughter climb back up the trail. That little bit of dry shore was covered in water in a spit of second.
It was scary. We lost our collections but we are happy to be alive and make it out of there.

Short walk to the beach from the parking area, which can only fit so many cars. Took my boys, 3 and 5, and they had a good time. We also found a good amount of sharks teeth.

Nice "park". Limited parking, no paved trail or facilities but quiet, uncrowded and has some fossils.

Best place for finding shark teeth (a lot), but the parking lot is so small you should come early, I love this place, so quiet!
