Some of the tests my doctor requested were not performed. I got partial results and now my doctor has to re-request them. Be sure to check your doctor's prescription against the results; use the chat, type speak to an agent and then they'll give you the number your doctor has to call to run the tests with the existing sample. These are kept for 7 days only, so act fast. My only other option is to make another appointment, get more blood drawn, pay a co-pay, take off work, etc. Do not go here.
Worst place ever! Waited 1.5 hours with my young daughter who was getting blood drawn for the first time in her life and was nervous! We had an appointment too. They took walk ins and people with no appointment. Grossly understaffed. Uncaring. Zero customer service and zero management presence to assist with chip on the shoulder staff. Felt like a public clinic which I would have more understanding for. Can’t wait to see what they charge my private commercial insurance on my next EOB. Go to Quest on West 14th street and 8th avenue, NYC. Night and day.experience.
Appointment was for 4.20. Appointment text said arrival 4:20 - 4:35 Hispanic man thin with glasses refused to help us. I explainedmy daughter is sick. Her school bus was late dropping her off 2 blocks away. We really need blood work. He refused. Last patient left at 4:40. I begged for another 5 min before leaving at 4:45. Terrible customer service. SHAME ON YOU!
Even with an appointment, I was there for over an hour. They remove people names from the queue on the screen early on, which causes confusion all around. They asked for my panel request on my phone, although it was already faxed and in the system. So many bad reviews and no improvement. Why is that?
Absolutely terrible experience. Rarely write reviews but I would avoid this place like the plague. Their appointment system does not work, and the staff couldn’t care less. I assume this lack of compassion is ultimately Quest’s fault for laying off staff and replacing them with an iPad. Find another place or be warned.
Honestly, this is the most horrible clinic experience in my life. First, pretty similar to previous comments, I had to wait forever even though the waiting room was empty. Second, I had a special blood test need, and their phone and website appointment system both didn't work for me, so I walked in simply to make an appointment. I explained that to the staff, but she insisted that I should make an appointment first through phone call or website. It turned out that I explained those methods didn't work for me for three times, and she repeated her command for three times. Unfortunately, my simple request turned out to be a war. She looked at me with contempt, disdain, and impatience. In the end, she criticized my volume and walked away just because I cannot follow her unrealistic command. Ironically, another Quest Diagnostics site happily completed my test request a couple of minutes later. If this lady doesn't like her job, then go find another job.
Had a truly awful experience at this location. One of the women phlebotomists glared at me and lashed out after I knocked on the door to ask for the location of the bathroom while the rest of the folks in the waiting room looked on in horror. Her response to my question was "Well you should already know since you knocked on the door and act like you know everything!" This was my very first interaction with this person and I have no idea how a simple door knock can set someone off like this. I do not understand how a person with obvious anger management problems is employed in a patient care setting. Please go anywhere but here.
I was stuck 6 times and bruised all over. Are the workers their really phlebotomist, Are they receptionist and.are they qualified for this type of job.
Absolutely horrible service. There is no one in the waiting area to check patients in and assist them if they have any questions. They have a sign in sheet in the waiting area with no instructions on check in procedures. The workers are in the back of facility with door closed and locked and gives attitude when you ask them a question whenever they decide to come out and call the next patient. The wait is long for no real reason. I think if they had someone in the front to assist patients that would make the process easier. I had to tell each patient that came in the process of checking in like it was my job. Don't waste your time going here. Service is absolutely disgusting.
made appointment and when I got there my name was not on the list and I was given the appointment scheduled to call and make another appointment. there was no one waiting and they did not want to take me. people starting coming in talking about this new quest telephone scheduling and then they decided to take me. from 1-10 I give them a 2
