Super 8 by Wyndham Boone NC

This is a real hidden gem! In addition to the friendly staff, our room was a big surprise when you consider how inexpensive it was. It was huge, very nicely furnished, and super clean. With the kitchenette, we had 3 sinks for heaven sake! The lobby and breakfast areas were well kept with warm and cozy decor. We never made it to the pool, but it looked very nice. And if that weren't enough, they recognized veterans with special parking spaces. We will definitely stay here again. A+ 😁

A phenomenal deal for the stay. We got this room simply because it was the least expensive. However I would stay here again and again. The continental breakfast was very nice. The hotel itself and the rooms were so nice and spotless clean, and you could not ask for a more central location in all of Boone! If I could give more stars I would!

I enjoyed my stay at the Super 8. The staff were very professional. There was a hand written message from the house keeper (Mellisa). Seeing it made me feel welcome, and invited me to feel comfortable in my room. No one ever does handwritten messages any more! Great job, young lady!

I have been staying here about once a week. I have had issues and Del (I think that's his name) has been amazing and so helpful while I've been here. He is the reason I keep returning. So I plan on coming back next week and I hope he is the one I get to have for customer service. Don't get me wrong most employees are nice,but aren't too good at customer service

I called this past Thursday to reserve a room for Friday night. My friends and I wanted to spend a night in Boone before going on a camping trip in Virginia. We picked this hotel because it is dog friendly and not many places around the area accept pets. I was confirmed several times on the phone that we were booked for that night. Upon arriving at the hotel (at 11PM), we were told they were entirely booked and that my name was not listed on any reservation. I went to check my email to see if they sent any confirmation and the guy on the phone booked me for the night I called (the 26th) instead of the night I requested. When I told the front desk guys, one of them began laughing, which really bugged me because we were out of a place to stay. He said it was because this isn't the first time that this has happened to someone. Supposedly the people that book reservations don't actually work at the hotel. Anyways, the entire area of Boone and surrounding area was all BOOKED. We had a full car of stuff and a dog, with nowhere to stay. After calling around for an hour, we decided to just head north to Virginia and found a place to stay. I will NEVER trust Super 8 again with any reservation and will be telling anyone and everyone this story & will never recommend this hotel. The staff was very unprofessional and didn't help at all after saying it was entirely booked. They just sat there and twiddled their thumbs.
