Every technician was extremely helpful. The prices are very competitive. And overall my experience was above standards. I brought in two laptops: one to have windows installed and two because it wouldn't turn on. Windows was installed in a timely manner and the price beat geek squad at Best Buy. The other computer wasn't able to get fixed but they found out my mother board needed replaced and researched all the items needed and labor costs for me to get it done. The prices again beat others and they dropped everything to help as soon as I walked in. I will definitely make this my place to go to get computer work done. Update: the computer that needed a motherboard was just fixed! They priced out a motherboard and it was a couple dollars cheaper than they quoted off the top of their head. This means they are extremely experienced in this field! The communication was above standard, they worked with me and got me the best price available for the motherboard. Once the part was received the computer was fixed the same day. The affordable geek continues to exceed my expectations. Great working team and I highly recommend them to anyone for any type of computer concerns/issues!

He messed up my computer !!! All I can say in response to his comment on my review ;. . . We had a keyboard issue where we could not login. and some keys were functioning while others were not. Essentially, the keyboard was not working properly. We gave it to this owner in the rain. After 4 days, my husband called and inquired since we heard nothing back from him. He said he could not fix it and we took it back. On returning back home, we noticed that windows and several other softwares were missing or gone. We bought the laptop legally and properly from Wal-Mart on Ramsey. There was nothing illegal or unwarranted that my husband did in purchasing a laptop from Wal-mart that has windows pre-installed. The computer was purchased in March of 2016. We dd not break the law as he tries to allege and we never told this man too! We just wanted all the software and windows installed like it was before!!! Has absolutely no right to talk about us like that. We are not computer experts and do not know much about licensing keys or what he was inquiring to us about. We came as customers placing our trust in him and the store . Essentially the computer was in a much worse shape than when we got it back. Not only was the keyboard issue still prevalent, but when we could login, the windows operating system was gone--everything was stripped! Finally, we took our laptop to another computer repair shop who fixed the keyboard issue and restored the operating system (nothing illegal or nothing pirated that my husband or we did, which is a ridiculous)

Amazing service. Gentlemen got the job done in less then a day. Made my slow laptop be able to get way faster, and receive a much better version of windows 10. These guys also fixed my broken WiFi, and have wonderful prices on desktops,laptops. I would highly recommend The Affordable Geek to anyone needing a desired fix.

Beyond happy. My gaming computer had a corrupt OS, and Asus quotes me $400 to fix it. Adorable geek fixed it AND upgraded me to windows 10 for a very decent price. And quickly. I can’t recommend them enough.

I'm pretty livid right now over my experience with this guy. I left my computer a MacBook Pro with him in July or August last year. The computer needed a motherboard which is hard to find right now. He said he would call me and he didn't. So I called him. He told me he's still looking. I said that's fine no rush at this time. He said he would call me when he found something. And he didn't. So I followed up again. Nothing yet. Fine. Still no rush. He never called me once. So I came in in January and my computer was gone! He told me the previous owner scrapped it because it was here past 30 days! Maybe that's what I get for being patient. I asked him 3 times today, "what can you do for me instead?" Because I'm not really needing the money I just need a machine. He had the audacity to tell me I can buy one from him The policy on the wall is clear that you have 30 days to pick up your machine after the repair is completed and you get notified. The repair was neither completed nor did he ever call me. Today he chose small claims court instead of offering me a cheap $300 laptop. I have never left a review like this before. I rarely give anything below a 3 star review because I know businesses are hard to run. but this guy absolutely pushed me. He is dishonest and lacks integrity and has zero business sense.
