I have been using this location for many years for both personal and business mail needs. I've found the staff to be pleasant and engaging, very knowledgeable, timely and efficient in their attention to customer needs, very professional and attentive to detail. I had one problem over those many years, which was handled competently by a supervisor and resolved. The regular customers here have also been similarly engaging and overly pretty pleasant.
There was a change that occurred earlier this year that switched a huge volume of addresses usually serviced by a different post office, to this location, which in my experience has affected the performance at this location. It has overloaded it and caused problems with what has historically been a very well run location, including staffing changes (I value the new faces, but miss most of the old crew that were wonderful to work with). I have seen some new customers who have been great. However I have also seen some whose address has shifted to this location be quite rude and disrespectful to staff (not what I've usually seen from usual customers here), who could benefit from showing the same respect and consideration they expect.
It has been and remains my preferred location, other than when I need to use the main post office. I do however hope that they work out some of the kinks ( longer wait times than usual, challenges with handling the new volume of mail) and provide the location and staff the needed support to handle the new volume. My advise to those visiting: be respectful and patient, just as you would expect in return; have some empathy for the shifts that have obviously affected staff and efficiency here; give some positive feedback when observed not just complaints; get to know staff and develop a positive rapport.

since the time we were moved from Russell to Rainbow, our problems began. Mail are not delivered on time or just got lost in general, there are signs of opening letters like someone looking for checks, credit cards or other valuable items
Very disappointed with this USPS station

One chick is great. Good sense of humor and very pleasant. The rest could (and should) be replaced by robots. Also, I don't know if our mail person works from this post office but he's definitely part of the review. He's a nice guy overall but L. A. Z. Y. We had a certified letter about a computer repair we were having done and they left one notice on our door (no knock, no doorbell ring, trust me, the dogs would let me know) saying they'd attempted to deliver it. Nope. I was home. Got a second attempt notice IN MY MAIL BOX. That's not even an attempt. I was home that time too. So, I had to drive to the post office (why are we paying for postal service again? UPS does a better job and they're pleasant.) to pick the letter up and the lovely lady wasn't there so had to deal with someone who obviously hates her life and job. I was pleasant because its not her fault I'm there but she was not and acted like it was an imposition to help me. Please.....sigh and roll your eyes again. Can y'all try to hire someone who appreciates that they have employment and great benefits and vacation? Someone who can smile at least some of the time? Most of these people are a waste of space and oxygen.

The guy Wil was helpful, but the lady Christina is totally incompetent. I don’t know how USPS hires people that dont know how to operate computers. We sat for 30 minutes having her search for a post office at a certain zip code, she complained and sat for an hour using her system as an excuse when clearly she is able to google it.. I also used their service to send out a cheque and they sent it to the wrong address. I decided to look it up myself on google and found it immediately... In general a terrible experience... her service reminded me of that of a sloth. Make sure to use another post office.

Pros: Very cheerful and helpful staff.
Cons: Every time I go to this post office I see overflowing trash cans and people soliciting with no mail to send.
Please fix this problem.
