United States Postal Service

This not the official post office associated with my address, but the one that is most convenient for me to access from where I live. A recurrent complaint that I have about this post office, which I only visit when absolutely necessary, is the fact that only one counter is usually open even if the line has gotten quite long and/or some customers have multiple packages to mail. Staffing appropriately adapted to the needs of customers appears to be an ever-present problem here. A general complaint that I have about the waiting in line at the post office experience concerns those extremely rude and inconsiderate individuals (you know who you are!) who always seem to ask a million inane questions when many people are waiting in line to expeditously complete their business and leave. It's as if these apparently clueless wonders (perhaps stupid would be the better term?) have never been in a post office before during their entire adult lives. This issue frequently manifests itself as a person attempting to mail a package that has not yet been wrapped/packaged with none of the pertinent paperwork having been filled out. Step-by-step assistance from the counter staff is expected while those people waiting behind in line slowly develop "the urge to kill".

Liza was patient as we had 5 boxes to ship. She explained the potential costs utilizing the different methods of shipping (priority vs express). Even though the line was long, she had a smile and a kind disposition. She worked quickly and efficiently and thanked us at the end of the transaction. Shipping things during the holidays is stressful, but she made the experience bearable.

USPS off Decatur. The front was out of flat rate envelopes. I could hear employees talking so I politely asked if they could hand me some being they were still closed. I told them I was on my way to work and had to be in at 9am (it was 850). A female answered, in a very dismissive manner, "if we're out then you need to wait til 9". I don't understand why most USPS employees have to be so rude. We as customers keep you in business. Please don't forget that. I am in the customer service industry and would never be dismissive like that to a customer.

Feb. 2 2018, 135pm....I'm watching the dot move on the map, then I get a note that there was an attempt to deliver ampackage and failed....WHOEVER IT WAS DIDNT EVEN COME TO MY DOOR.....ME AND MY SON R HOME AND NO ONE CAME TO OUR DOOR!!!! THERE WAS NO ATTEMPT...DIDNT EVEN SEE IT COME INTO THE ADDRESS!!!! SOMEONE ISNT DOING THEIR JOB!!!! Package is under Teresa Sedgwick

Filipino lady has a horrible attitude and costumer service. That explains the low stars ratings. This is your typical “I have no choice “ stop.
