First, Karen, our mail-person for almost a decade, performed her job without any errors, according to my aged memory. Our block was sorry to see her go; she went out of her way to ring doorbells, knock on doors and try to ensure your packages got to you. The new delivery people are just as efficient. My only complaint, about this branch, is understaffing. The people work as hard as they can but, usually, there are many vacant work stations. In typical government fashion, there are five or six stations and maybe two or three workers. In addition, often one of the workers is busy with immigration documentation. This reduces the staff level to two extremely overworked people. I have often been there when the tension breaks loose as the line stretches to the door. If the government would hire more workers, this could be a great place to do business. I never blame the verbally abused workers; it is their management that is the problem. I understand other people's complaints, with their indigenous carriers; Karen was an excellent delivery person. For almost a decade, she became a fixture in the neighborhood. The line can grow to almost the entry door. I took one star away for the staffing debacle; if this office were staffed correctly, I would give it five stars. Q.E.D. Awful customer service. There is a particular lady who looks Asian. She was throwing the packages and gave everyone a bad attitude. My complaint is based on the costumer service in the post office. There is one gentlemen who is really nice though. He has grey hair very polite.

I wait patiently in line with a smile on my face for over 45 minutes just for the airhead at the counter to tell me she won't even look for my package in back because they're closing in 20 minutes. Customer service skills aren't required at the post office, beware this one in particular though.

Always great service! Sometimes the wait is long though. I seem to show up when it's break time.

all yall crying below are wussies, you go work at the post office n lets see how cheery you are, suck it. this branch RULES! ALWAYS gets my mail processed fast, correctly and quite politely.
