They dont sell tickets but memberships. Join the cinema club for a month for the price of two movies, and watch as many as you like. While drinking fine wine sold onsite... Movies range from a few months old, to timeless classics, but if you haven't watched it, or even if you have, enjoy! Bring 4 friends for free on the last Saturday of the month.

Sadly I've had to change my old review, the place has been refurbished and all the charm that it once had has been stripped. There is no popcorn, no coffee and none of the previous atmosphere. The movies are no longer advertised on the outside and the place is empty and closed most of the time. Old review: Fantastic place to take a break from the busy and crazy student life. With cheap popcorn and new movies every week, this had become one of my favorite pass times. They also have a great assortment of movies ranging from recently released silly comedies to foreign dramas and anime as well as certain episodes from new series at times. Definitely worth it to join the society!

Friendly staff & very reasonable prices. Their barista makes the best coffees & drinks, & there's a great little seating area to hang out before the movie starts. Cinema is always very clean & neat, & a great selection of movies is always on offer.

Absolutely lovely activity. Staff are friendly, the cinema is clean and well maintained, pop corn and snacks are very well priced and the opportunity to enjoy a beer or glass of wine with your movie make this a must do activity. Unfortunately a membership is required but the cost of membership is well worth admission to this wonderful theater.

I've been coming since my first. Now in my Honours probably one of the decisions ever made. Best popcorn. Best service. And you can have a drink and watch a movie! 10 out of 10 recommendation. If you are not a member its R50 per movie. Membership R450 annually

very tasteful selection of films, and great variety. affordable food and drink, with alcohol available. single use tickets can be expensive but monthly and annual subscriptions are incredibly worth it.

Amazing cinema for the members of PULP film society. Please note that if you aren't a member, you can't watch anything here. Popcorn is great though and cheap and can be bought by anybody. Live the spot and the space, it really is something to look forward to going to if you are a member.

Special place with welcoming hosts

Popcorn and drinks are really cheap. The reason why I gave four stars to pulp cinema, is because the cinema seats are quite old and a bit dirty and there was no toiletpaper in the bathroom. Lastly, it is not wheelchair accessible.

They sell wine and everything inside. They reconstructed the place when I was there. I'll definitely go back when they open
