Alamo Rent A Car

Easy check-in at Norfolk Airport; helpful agent offered me a Chevy Impala, which I was fine with, and then added "or an Audi A-4"! I happily chose that and found the car clean and beautiful. The real highlight was checking-back in at Norfolk a week later--running late for a plane, I told the lot attendant I was hoping to park in the airport, not wait for a shuttle, and the young man said to jump back in--he would drive me to the terminal! Wonderful service! Keep up the good work, Alamo!

excellent service. quick check in. return flight was cancelled. agent helped assist continued use of vehicle at minimal cost. Will for certain use alamo again.

HORRIBLE. After booking a flight and rental car (convertible) through Expedia and paying for the whole thing, when I went to pick up the rental I was told I could not rent a convertible since I was not 25. EVEN THOUGH it allowed me to reserve and pay for the convertible after putting in my date of birth. Then they told me that I had not paid for the vehicle yet and tried to charge me an additional $50 for a lesser vehicle. I will never use Alamo again.

The worst service ever! I booked and paid for online, drove 60mi to pick up the vehicle and because they don't have a CC chip reader I could not get the vehicle. This location does not answer the phone as well. Get with the times people!

Overall, had a great experience renting from Alamo. The only problem was the counter at ORF was staffed by only one employee on a busy Sunday morning, and Alamo's printer was having problems. So there was a bit of a wait, but that one employee couldn't have been nicer or more adept at her job. We got a great car at a good price, and returning it was easy.
