Avis Car Rental

No car available despite reservation. My flight was delayed so I called to let the agency know I would be picking up the car the next morning. After driving 20 minutes out of my way (this location is cheap because it’s far away and small) I was told that they didn’t hold my car for, would not refund the insurance I paid, and didn’t have any extras available. The attendent was completely unsympathetic and unapologetic and told me I could walk to Enterprise and try my luck.

We had booked online for the smallest truck rental and when we went there they had only the biggest i think 26' truck. It was such an inconvenience to us as the destination was on a slope with all trees surrounding it. At the end we saw they charged us more, when the receptionist agreed to reduce the gas price. As the mileage for small truck was better than the 26' one.

Car is not good, when asked about the issue he just said we are only franchise we just rent cars what company gives, asked me to complaint to customer service. The car wipers were not working, headlights were very dim, break pads problem. When I switch the car in other location the guy said we have problem with these Dodge cars everywhere, but this guy is saying he is not responsible for the car. Better check the car before you take in this location.

Great service with one exception - no one answers phone calls at the front desk...please ensure staff member always present at the desk during working hours, or else you will potentially lose customers.

Absolutely terrible! Dirty cars and the one I had only had a quarter tank of gas. The manager said "Bring it back with a quarter tank" I was then charged $72.00 for gas as well as premium prices not agreed on.
