This is the first time we used National. We did not have a car reservation, yet the experience was easy, prompt, and seamless. Within less than about eight minutes, we were "checked-in" and even joined the Emerald club; and we were on our way to select the vehicle in the parking garage. The vehicle was clean, low mileage, non-smoking, and in excellent operational and esthetics condition. The return six days later was just as seamless. I highly recommend National Car Rental in Austin.

This is one of the absolute best National Car Rentals I rent from. I do love National's skip the counter. But, every time I get to the garage I am immediately greeted by such friendly employees who really make you feel welcomed. They are always ready to help you with anything you need. Love, Love Love it!

My flight was delayed and my arrival was at 3:30 - I did not know you closed at 1:00. Left with no rental. I had to call to see what time you close- there is no signage indicating you are closed. Leslie was great.. she is professional and helpful. She deserves the 5 stars. Thank you again Leslie

Haven't had any issues with this location. the staff have always been friendly and helpful. My only wish would be for a better selection of cars for the Executive Aisle. I got lucky my last two times (free upgrade, and 1 remaining nice vehicle), but otherwise the selection has been underwhelming to the point of checking out the Emerald aisle for options. I continue to make National my choice as a frequent business traveler.

Inventory was sparse on both occassions. The second time there were 3 minivans, 2 cars and 1 premium vehicle when I arrived. Vehicles were being brought up, parked and immediately claimed before the driver could even turn them off. During the rental process, initially, there was only one staff member present who was also handling rental issues, refunds and adjustments. At least 2 people commanded his attention because "they" told them to see him. As you can imagine he was unable to keep track of customer arrival order and seemed frazzled. At one point, people were huddled together and running for cars as they pulled up. There was no time to consider make, model or features. It was chaotic!
The return process was extremely smooth. Michael greeted me by name when I pulled up, offered assistance with my bags and provided instructions on getting to the terminal. He was friendly, relaxed and thanked me for my business!
