Have lived here almost two years and can say without hesitation it is lovely. Clean, well kept grounds, polite neighbors, and loads of amenities... large clean pool, 24 hr fitness center with modern equipment and full weights/dumbells, can pay rent on my phone, friendly staff, responsive maintenance, I could go on and on.

I lived at Chateau for about two years. Loved it everyday! The rent is not cheap, but it is so worth it. when my first apartment had a bats issue, the management quickly moved my family into a new renovated unit without increase the rent.
The staff are professional and friendly. The company really cares about tenants and willing to make the effort! Whenever I had an issue, the staff had always been promptly and happy to help me. I was so surprised when found out it only costs one buck to get a new key!!! The staff even asked me if I need a ride to the office to get the replacement key!
They are always really good at clear the sidewalk and parking lot. Never had issue with icy road. Not to mention, tons of pets waste station with poops bags. Garbage company also comes 3 times a week! Definitely the best place to rent!
It is just too bad they don't have much properties over the south side.

Paid 675 for a ONE bedroom. Tiny, no washer or dryer. I now pay 700 for a 3 bedroom house with a yard, updated appliances/interior, and 2 bathrooms. So, insanely overpriced.
Also, my car was broken into and vandalized twice, my boyfriends 3 times.
You would think that with the outrageous rent, they could provide some cameras or security.
I was so happy to be out of that lease.

It's a good place for the young professional to move to. It's far enough away from campus, and affordable enough for the recent college grad. I wish that the inside was as modern/updated as it appears on the outside, mainly in the hallways, common areas. The faculty are friendly, and maintenance usually responds within 1-2 days!
There are a few management items that could be worked on, though. I was surprised and excited upon move in to be living on a smoke-free campus. Unfortunately, it's very poorly enforced. They are great about not having to require a parking permit (making it easier to have guests), but I think a parking sticker would be a strategic investment. My car registered to the apartment was towed (mid-lease) for being listed as "no longer a tenant." That being said, they were honest about their mistake and reimbursed the towing fee. Friendly staff, possibly just need operations readjustments.

I lived at Chateau for three years. Part of that was while I was still in college and the other while I was working. I lived in the Chateau La Fleur neighborhood on the Trailview Campus. I absolutely loved living at Chateau!! The rent is very reasonably priced and so worth it. My apartment had updated interior and also had new and clean carpet when I moved in. There were also very little “other apartment smells” inside my apartment from neighbors, whether that be from cooking or smoking. There was a smoking issue once and they notified the tenant to make changes. I had a one bedroom apartment and it was absolutely perfect. The neighborhood is in a very convenient location, but it also feels very residential. Everyone in the office was nice and always welcoming when I would go to the office. And, every time I had a package delivered, they would call me to let me know that it was in the office. If I ever had an issue, the office would be prompt and happy to help me. I had some issues with a neighbor and they were very helpful in resolving the issue. They will definitely go out of their way to help you with whatever you need. The maintenance at Chateau is also the best and very professional. They are always ready to help and it is easy to submit a maintenance request on the Chateau website at your convenience. They are always great with snow removal and the sidewalks are always cleared in the mornings and have salt. Also, one time my car was stuck and frozen to the ground after we had a lot of snow and they saw I was having issues and asked if they could help me get my car out. The grounds at Chateau are nice and well kept. There are also convenient waste sites and bags if you happen to have a dog. The grounds are comfortable and very home-like. There are great amenities here that can make anyone happy. I absolutely loved living here and would recommend Chateau to anyone. It really is the best in Lincoln!!!
