Ruskin Place Apartments

The maintenance was and is amazing here! They get to your requests almost immediately. However, you can hear almost everything in the hall and at the neighbors next to you. Really I don’t ever write reviews and the only reason I am is due to how unhelpful the staff is there. I moved out of Ruskin place 2 months ago and still have not received my deposit back. I have spoke with Britney (the manager?) and the account for ruskin place multiple times on this matter and have been told multiple times that it should be to my new place within the next week or two. When it wasn’t delivered the first time I was told to call the post office to see if it was there and if it was not to call back the next day and they would void the check and then send a new one. When I called back the next day to tell Britney that it wasn’t at the post office the other staff informed me that she wouldn’t be back for another’s week due to a conference! Then why the f*** would she tell me to call her back the next day?! I finally got ahold of her and she said she would talk to accountant to have a new one sent and then let me know. Well not only did I NEVER hear from her but also when asking her via email if, due to the hassle of the process, she could have the new check sent via express mail she simply just didn’t reply and then when I called her she told me a new one was already sent and would be to within 2 weeks. That was a little over 2 weeks ago from today. Should never be this difficult to get MY money back. Brittney is the most unhelpful person I have ever had to communicate with and represents the whole company in a very negative way which is unfortunate for the company and the other workers at Ruskin place. It is nice that they allow pets here.

I think this apartment complex is pretty great. If you are new to Lincoln, and an animal lover, I feel like you would truly enjoy this place. The staff is very family and no surprises in rent or anything like that.

Lived here for 10 months and every day was a different issue. Everything in my apartment was cheap & constantly breaking, my heat broke in the dead of winter. The staff in the leasing office is never around and never knows what's going on. Because of the low price, it attracted the worst people. They leave trash, cigarette butts and dog poop everywhere. I had 5 different neighbors that caused loud disturbances throughout the time I lived there, sometimes smashing things in the hallway. Almost positive I was surrounded by all methheads. There's no lock on the complex doors so anyone can just walk in. Now they're trying to raise rent at the end of my lease without any upgrades, ha no. Don't choose to live here, the price does not make it even close to worth it.

I love living here! the whole staff is so friendly and helpful. the maintenance is super quick and easy to work with. the location is perfect for getting around town fast as it's right off major roads and highways. I wouldn't have gone anywhere else in my budget!

After selling my home, I needed a place to live that would allow a large dog. I also needed a safe home for my two small girls. I found both! The maintence staff is lead by a quick and efficient seasoned pro named John. A big bonus because I don't have time to fix anything. Signing up was easy too. The office staff is helpful and always nice to my girls. My family loves the hills for sledding, the pool during the summer, and the great neighbors in this community. There is a lot of land to explore and it connects to the city bike trails. I don't have to mow or scoop snow! Most of all the neighborhood is safe and quiet after dark.
