Place is decent and staff is nice. Does smell like weed but that is always preference if it bothers you. Overall not bad for a first apartment.

Lionsgate has been one of the most affordable places that has all of the amenities we wanted. The office staff has always been friendly to us and helped us with anything we needed. It is very convenient to be able to pay rent online, and any maintenance requests are fulfilled quickly. The only remarks that I really have is that parking fills up pretty quick and sometimes you have to pull on the building door to get it to latch shut. Otherwise it has been great here.

My boyfriend and I lived at Lionsgate for one year and would probably never move back there or to any of the other Richdale complexes. Our biggest issue was how they handled our problem with our upstairs neighbor. She continuously smoked in her apartment and the smell would always come down into our apartment and make it smell awful. The first time we complained they did send maintenance in to seal anywhere the smoke would be leaking in. After that the smell continued to flood our apartment and anytime we would complain nothing seemed to be done about it. It continued until we moved out 10 or 11 months later and I would not be surprised if she still does it now. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because I just got my deposit back and they were surprisingly fair in what they returned to us, while all of our other experiences with them felt like all they cared about was getting as much money as they could from us. The apartment was pretty nice overall, the gym is sufficient and the pool was nice. The leasing office staff was also very nice. They just don't enforce any of the rules that they have, and that is a huge problem.

The people here are great they have always treated me right. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I feel like there is always room for improvement. But I have no complaints about my experience here.
