Courtyard by Marriott Des Moines Ankeny

My wife and I decided to have our wedding here in April 2018, and the staff exceeded my every expectation. The staff at the Courtyard is extremely professional and courteous. I want to especially say that Karen, Tesla, and Ann were amazing throughout our entire process, and they made what is an extremely stressful day as stress free as they could. The food was extremely good and cooked properly, we had a pork meal that was cooked through and still retained it's juice, a sign that the cooking staff knows how to prepare and not overcook food. They were extremely professional and kept a clean kitchen. If you ever are considering a place in Ankeny to have a wedding, conference, or event, you would be wise to consider the Courtyard by Marriott in Ankeny.

Rooms were clean and well taken care of the fab housekeepers. The lobby and business center were clean and organized. The gym was small but had pretty good equipment!!! The conference center was terrific and the food over the course of my 5 day stay here was well prepared by an accommodating conference center crew. Everything was awesome. Of course it was expensive in the bar and no free breakfast.

This room was a great value for its price. I didn't have time to use many amenities because I was in town for a running race. I did appreciate that staff was willing, no questions asked to let us have late check out so we could shower when we were done running.

Very friendly staff. Check in was easy on the Marriott app. Extra towels and pillows requested and they were on the bed when we arrived. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Stayed here for a wedding. Great location! Very clean and great service.
