Hyatt Place Des Moines/Downtown

Service is nice but the quality of everything is not worth $244/night. The Venetian in Vegas was cheaper per night. Hotel room was alright, decent bed & pillows. The eggs for breakfast were flavorless fluffy yellow wanna-be eggs, sausage was decent, water tasted like chlorine... you’ll just have to see for yourself if you decide to stay here. Oh, & there is no *free* parking like it says. You either pay for valet OR pay to park in a parking ramp which is a couple blocks away which then you have to walk through the skyway which seemed like a mile with all of your luggage. Thanks for a roof over my head though! That’s about it.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms. Friendly staff and loved the comfortable bed and pillows. These are very important since i have a bad back and sciatica issues. Loved the view from my 7th floor suite. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Looking forward to having an excuse to get away and stay again! Very pleasing overall!!

Awesome stay. They got me checked in early and helped me get ready for a wedding ceremony by doing so. Great morning breakfast included. Great location near the farmers market on Saturday morning.

Ive been here twice and both times the hotel room and staff have been great. The shuttle service from the airport is free. They'll pick you up and drop you off, even if your flight is a few hours after checkout. The breakfast isnt the best, I just stick with toast while I'm here.
