Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center

A great family friendly hotel. The staff was amazing and the hot breakfast was delicious. The pool and hot tub was very nice as well. The rooms were very clean and overall we had a great experience. Will be planning another trip to stay here. It is also very convenient to many shopping places, restaurants, and right next door to the movie theater. We had a great 2 day mini vacation and I am very pleased we chose this hotel.

Nice location close to I-235 and I-80/35 in Johnston. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room booked was one with a whirlpool tub in the room, and it was great! Swimming pool is both indoor and outdoor, with a door/tunnel connecting.

We stayed in one of their king spa rooms. The room was great! The decorations were warm and inviting. It was a very romantic weekend. Would certainly stay here again the next time in Des Moines.

We went there for an overnight stay for my boyfriend's birthday and neither of us wanted to leave and resume regular life! We got a spacious room with a hot tub and they even let me check in early to decorate it. The decor is unique and adorable. Free breakfast and a huge TV with cable. Really loved it and we had a special time.

Nice place. Clean, nice breakfast, kids dug the pool. Very “lodgey” but that’s kind of their MO. Not over priced, and despite the walls being a little thin and the AC a little noisy...my family and I had a great stay.
