Sheraton West Des Moines Hotel

Theron Sheraton Hotel was located in a great area of West Des Moines. The room were nice, quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff was outstanding, very friendly and anxious to make your stay comfortable. Everyone I came into contact with went above and beyond. The breakfast on the Club level was excellent and again, the service impeccable.

I recently attended a luncheon held at the Sheraton West Des Moines. The rooms we used, a smaller room for an early workshop, and a larger room for a luncheon were both nice. AV operation was easy, the plated lunch was good, and service was polite and fast. There was construction in the lobby that we knew would be happening, so that was not ideal, but that was communicated to our group prior to the date. Restrooms were clean and well-stocked. We have had this luncheon in several locations around the Des Moines metro area in the past few years and I think we will plan to return to this location in the future. We were pleased with how much parking was available for attendees and how easy it is for out-of-town guests to find.

What an amazing hotel. From the minute you walk in it’s very warm and inviting. The cascading three story waterfall in the foyer was very nice. Dave at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming even at 1:30 in the morning. We booked this hotel on Priceline for a steal. The beds were extremely comfortable and the cleanliness of not just the rooms but the entire hotel was very impressive. I highly recommend this place if you are traveling through Des Moines. Would recommend this location over any of the downtown hotels I’ve stayed at. The pikes place Starbucks coffee was a really nice wake up drink in the morning too. Thanks Sheraton.

Everything about our event & catering was great! I would give it 5 Stars, but most of their atrium was being renovated. I look forward to seeing the final product

its clean. I don't like that they don't have a hot tub and no continental breakfast. The kitchen is under remodel now. the TV had bad static. On the positive it's close to restaurants. Bed is comfortable.
