Holiday Inn & Suites West Des Moines-Jordan Creek

Stayed at the Holiday Inn on Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines. Staff was friendly and were helpful with getting us a new room. Upon arrival our room hadn't been cleaned from the previous guest. However, they quickly gave us a clean room after we phoned the desk. The breakfast buffet options change each morning -it's good. The pool and hot tub were nice. Didn't utilize the exercise room. Overall good experience.

I was here shooting a wedding. The hotel did an outstanding job decorating the reception area with linens and place settings and table arrangements. Food was provided by the hotel restaurant, Johnny's Steakhouse. I'd rate the food 3.5/5 (there was so much meat and not much else, but still good), however the hotel did an amazing job serving nearly all the guests (150+/-) in a very short period. Multiple courses for all the guests were server in under 20 minutes. They were also great about serving the wedding photographers and DJ at the same time as the guests, which is quite uncommon.

Good service, clean rooms and in a great shopping and restaurant area. The hotel is connected to a steakhouse/bar in thw main lobby. Great service there too. I really enjoyed my stay. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Poor hospitality. Booked a room online for over $200 to have an enjoyable time away, only to find out when we got there the package we purchased doesn't exist neither do the offers that were included in the online booking. Unfortunately we will not be staying here again.

Stayed here for a wedding in a king suite. The room was spacious and clean, and very comfortable. I wish there was continental breakfast, but it does have a very nice restaurant and the room kitchenette is very functional. All in all, it was a very nice hotel.
