No overhang to protect you from weather while loading or unloading vehicle. Happened to be pouring the entire day when we arrived. Also, we were not informed that there was no a/c when we arrived due to a fire the day before. It wasn't until we walked into our 78 degree room that we found out. The room was clean and spacious. Would have given higher ratings otherwise. Movie theater and several choices of restaurants all within walking distance.

Excellent hotel! Jane, the Sales Manager was so helpful with making our arrangements and became a friend to us during our stay. The night Front Desk Manager, Herb, made us feel right at home and we formed another friendship. Very clean, great housekeeeping staff. The Breakfast staff is on it every morning, keeping the area well stocked and clean and hard working. Clean fitness room and nice indoor pool and hot tub well maintained by the maintenance staff. You won’t be disappointed!

Very professional, friendly staff. Common areas and my room were maintained at the highest levels of cleanliness. Breakfast buffet was well-maintained and always well-stocked. Machines in exercise room were modern and in good working order. I had everything I needed for my stay, or could request it.

Good place to stay here if you are in Des Moines area, surrounded by some good restaurants...neat and clean.... cooperative front desk...I don't like : they don't have nonstick pans and kitchen is bit conjusted...hardly one person can stand. Spray some air freshner in room/porch

Location was perfect and facilities were well kept. Great place to stay if you're visiting the city!
